Our KidVantage Hubs will be closed for donations for the remainder of the week. We will be back to our normal schedule starting next Monday.

All KidVantage locations will be closed Wednesday, June 19th, in observance of Juneteenth, and no donations will be accepted on Tuesday, June 18th at the Shoreline, and Issaquah Hubs. Normal hours resume on Thursday.

Memorial Day Weekend kicks off the Summer in a lot of places. For us in the Northwest, we've got a little bit more waiting to do... 🌧

BUT there's no better time to brush up on some summer safety tips for kids as we await our warmer weather...

🌊 Always have an adult watching kids in or around water.

🌭 Keep kids at least 3ft away from a hot grill to avoid burn accidents.

🚗 Ensure your child's car seats are installed correctly & never leave your child alone in a car to prevent heat stroke.

⛺️ Take an opportunity to teach kids basic outdoor safety, like spotting poison ivy or being safe around campfires.

On Friday, May 10th, KidVantage hosted an exciting new spring event, “Take a Chance for Kids,” followed by an online auction, “A 2nd Chance for Kids,” which closed last night. 🎉

It is with full hearts that KidVantage would like to thank everyone who helped make hosting a new event such a success.

Thank you to attendees whose presence made the event brighter, to volunteers who worked tirelessly to set up, tear down, and ensure everything ran smoothly, to everyone who participated in a 2nd chance for kids, and to the generous donors whose contributions of prizes and auction items helped raise vital funds for children in the community. 🎁

Together, we’re making a difference in the lives of children. Let’s continue to champion their well-being and success in life!

Take a Chance for Kids was an exciting, prized filled night. Swendini, our magician, wasn't the only one making magic that night, because of supporters we also raised $60,000 for kids! ✨🙌

We'd like to share special thanks to Arnav and Troop 571 for donating 50 new bikes & helmets to KidVantage! As a part of Arnav's Eagle Scout project, he chose to build and donate bikes to KidVantage, and already as of this week, 12 of the bikes built by Troop 571 will be going to kids in the community!

Bikes provide great physical activity for kids, developing motors skills and balance, and also help foster a sense of belonging/social interactions by giving them an opportunity to ride with friends. Thank you, Arnav & Troop 571!

A child may be small, but their love for mom is immeasurable. 🧡

Yesterday was a big day at our Hub! Our incredible staff unloaded 150,000+ Huggies diapers. Thank you to The National Diaper Bank Network and Huggies ! Through our membership with the National Diaper Bank Network and their founding sponsor Huggies, we received a truckload of diapers to support babies and their families across Central Puget Sound.

KidVantage is one of the few organizations that accepts gently used car seats and booster seats. Donated seats must be accompanied by our Car Seat & Booster Seat Acceptance Form and are then thoroughly checked by one of our Car Seat Techs before they are given to a child needing one.

However, not all seats can be accepted by KidVantage. We often can't accept them because they have expired, have been in a car accident, are missing pieces, or are too well-loved.

That's where the Target Car Seat Trade-In Event is a great option! Bring your car seats, that KidVantage can't accept, and drop them off at Target. In exchange, you'll receive a 20% off coupon to be used toward the purchase of select baby gear!
