We would like to honor the following students as our January Eagle of the Month winners:
Hannah (Kindergarten) and Josie (5th Grade)
Each month teachers nominate a student from their class who demonstrates our SOAR values of being Safe-Optimistic-Accepting and Responsible. These nominations are reviewed by the Admin team and one student from each campus is selected to be our Eagle Student of the Month. Recipients are awarded the coveted “Eagle” trophy and their picture is added to the Eagle of the Month display in our hallways.
Congratulations to our two winners!
We are looking forward to our current 5th grade class moving up to Middle School status next year!
Earlier this week, our current 5th grade class attended a "jump-up breakfast" where they got to sit with 6th and 7th graders and ask them questions about what it is like to be a middle schooler at SJS. After breakfast, our Middle School Leadership Officers held a Q&A session to answer some of the most asked questions from 5th graders.
