2 Stay 2 Go is an all-student run pop up restaurant in Ithaca, New York. Every week the top 2 selling entrees and top 2 selling sides stay on the menu. The bottom 2 entrees and sides are rotated out and new items replace them. This gives our customers the ability to have a say in our menu while allowing us to adapt to their preferences.

Going from an idea to ex*****on in 6 weeks was a tremendous intellectual challenge for myself and the founding team. Taking classes at Cornell and running a profitable business was a tremendous opportunity and one that I never took for granted. I struggled and had victories — but the most valuable piece was the knowledge/friends gained along the way. I started 2S2G with $10K, a vision and a world-class team. I hope to restart the restaurant in the future once I’ve narrowed my career focus and established a reliable team. I followed every lesson I learned to ensure 2 Stay 2 Go was unit economic positive from day one. Attaching our second week income statement for reference (% is wrong for dine in revenue sorry). We broke even in 2 weeks and grew from there - was straightforward. Students earned “profit share” instead of a paid salary — inflating operating margins. Still is a cool story and I just wanted to say thank you to all that helped. If any ambitious students are up for a challenge come 3Q23 hit us up.
