Banquet Server - Required Abilities:

• To carry trays to and from a kitchen

• To work with large groups in a variety of settings

• To lift 25-50 pounds

• To stand for 8+ hours

• To be a team player

• To manage a buffet

• To assist in cleaning before and after an event

• To communicate clearly and effectively with the team

• TIPS training or NY Alcohol Class Required/Provided

Catering By Luna is currently hiring for a catering manager. We are seeking someone with determination, organization, enthusiasm, and skill to excel in customer service. Job includes sales, event coordination and other tasks to oversee a busy catering business.

Job Description:

You will be directly supervising the catering staff, resources and event ex*****on, working directly with the clients, catering staff & head chef in supervising the daily catering operations. Such events may include drop off catering, staffed informal parties with/without bar services, banquets, food truck events, and weddings.

Management of a variety of staff situations will be required on a daily basis. A major focus is to ensure proper ex*****on of events with great customer satisfaction. This means responding to clients quickly, respecting their wishes, and managing any and all disturbances during an event with care. These tasks, along with scheduling shifts, inputting events/data, organizing beos, packing out events, and other general assistance roles will be performed daily.

We are currently searching for the following qualities:

Computer skills
The ability to coordinate with guests and clients in a variety of settings
To lift 25+ pounds
To stand for up to 8+ hours
To be a team player
To direct and manage a team clearly & effectively while executing events
To assist in cleaning before and after an event
To assist in general management tasks
