Congratulations to Jackson County's own Ye Ole Carriage Shop in Spring Arbor, recipient of the 2023 Award of Excellence winner in the category of Heritage Tourism from the Motor City National Heritage Area organization! Our second Award of Excellence winner from last week's 25th Anniversary Gala was in the Heritage Tourism category. The recipient was Lloyd Ganton (pictured with his wife Judy), who operates Ye Ole Carriage Shop in Spring Arbor. The museum doesn’t just feature Jackson based vehicle history, but other movie/TV collectible vehicles and a completely recreated Coca-Cola diner.
