We are so excited to be moving in some updates to the salon!

Meet Livi!
Livi Maynard has been a stylist for 18 years now. She is one of the owners at South of New York, and has worked with many of her co-workers her entire career.
Livi has a very happy family life with her husband, 2 boys, and Pupper dog. Her favorite pastime is traveling!
She loves her clients as many of them have become close friends over the years.

Shara Lynn Clark started her career 18 years ago and now specializes in hair color and formal and bridal styles. She is known at the salon as everyone’s friend, someone easy to talk to and always willing to help others out. Shara Lynn is a mom of two energetic boys. When she isn’t at the salon you will find her practicing her taxi driving skills taking the boys to practice, church or lessons.

Meet Kaely!
Kaely McKee has been a stylist for 11 years, 6 of those here with us at SoNY. She specializes in extensions and dimensional hair color. Kaely enjoys taking classes often to stay up to date and learn new techniques.
When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll find Kaely outside as much as possible, enjoying time with family and friends and spoiling her dog, Avery.

Meet Callie!
Callie has been doing hair for 8 years. One of her favorite things about being a stylist is meeting new people and getting to know them, some feel more like family now! She loves making her clients feel beautiful and seeing the joy on their faces when they see the end result of their hair. Outside the salon, you’ll catch Callie spending time outdoors with her family and sneaking away to the beach whenever she gets the chance!

Meet Hannah!
Hannah has been a stylist at South of New York for 2 years now. While she loves working in the salon cutting and coloring hair, she also enjoys getting to travel outside of the salon for special event hair and makeup! Hannah’s favorite part about doing hair is the “big reveal” when clients get to see their hair for the first time after she has worked on it!
Outside of the salon Hannah enjoys working out, reading and going to church!
“You may not be able to change the whole world, but you can change one person’s world with a simple hairstyle and good conversation. I love that each day a very specific person is put in my path and I’m allowed to be a small part of their big journey!” -Hannah

Meet Deniece!

Deniece Dungan has been cutting, coloring and styling hair for 35 years. She is also one of the co-owners of SoNY. She enjoys hair cuts the most. Working with her clients to discover their best cut/style is her top priority. When she isn’t behind the chair, Deniece enjoys taking motorcycle trips, RV camping and of course, spending time with grandkids.

Meet Anna!

Anna Miller has been a hairstylist for 17 years, she helped open South of New York 14 years ago. She loves having the opportunity to build relationships and friendships with people by seeing them every 4-5 weeks, some for almost 2 decades.

Meet Makala!

Makala has been a hairstylist for five years. She loves meeting new people. Getting to know her client, customizing their color or cut and making them feel special is what she loves most about being a stylist. Her time outside of the salon is spent with family, friends and fur babies.

Meet our hairstylist Taryn!

Taryn Morris has been doing hair for 15 years, 7 of them here at South of New York Salon. Taryn’s favorite part of doing hair is interacting with her clients and making them comfortable in their own skin. Putting a smile on their face is instant gratification!
