It is harder for Cat Rescuers to raise much needed funds due to the demonization.

Crazy cat hating people came up with this phrase & it is very harmful.
We are Cat People or a Cat Person.
You can even call me CatWoman.
Better yet call me a loving human being trying their best to take care of all God’s creations 🙏🏼🩷🐈‍⬛🐈

Meet Millie.
Millie came to Pretty Kitty as a tiny kitten. But an animal shelter is no place for tiny kittens, so a kind volunteer took Millie in to foster. Millie has been spayed, is up to date on all shots, and ready to find A Home of Her Own. Millie’s Foster Mom says she is a Velcro Kitty-she Loves to be held and sticks to her people day and night.

The last 6 months have been a Roller Coaster ride at Pretty Kitty shelter. Thankfully, Pretty Kitty has weathered the rough patches, thanks in no small part to our Supporters. Because of donations, the kittens have been spayed/neutered, and the air conditioners are still limping along. Also, we have had some adoptions, including Wednesday who traveled to Florida and Trixie who is now in Massachusetts!
In the coming days, we will be posting the many kittens that are in Foster Care that are now ready for their forever homes.

Update on the Air Conditioner
All the cats are safe & cool. We were lucky enough to find someone to do a temporary fix on the compressor. A big Thank You to everyone who donated towards the repair! We also have a line on a used condenser, so if/when the compressor goes out again we shouldn't have the scramble we went through before. We do still welcome donations for the eventual replacement of the condenser. Let's keep our Cool Cats cool! 😸

OH, NO!
It finally happened. The compressor on the front A/C unit at Pretty Kitty shelter has died! And because of its age, the whole outside unit will have to be replaced. And of course, there's not enough $$ in the piggy bank to cover it. Our first quote was $7500, & we are waiting on a 2nd quote now. The cats of Pretty Kitty shelter need relief NOW! Just when we thought we were going to get "Out of the Woods" with the Air Conditioners, one of them has Conked Out! We are struggling to keep our Cool Kitties from overheating.
