Hey Hey Hey ... Happy Saturday to my Fellow Colleagues!!
I'm sending out a quick follow-up to the educational schedule we have for the upcoming IASTM ( Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) course in September and the Sports Performance Program in Florida starting the first week of January 2025!
FIRST.. Lets discuss the upcoming IASTM class scheduled for September 28th & 29th in Jacksonville NC. It will be Saturday & Sunday from 9-5 each day. It's our entry-level educational- course, designed to educate massage therapists on utilizing the IASTM tool, and EQUALLY IMPORTANT is the science behind the work!! There is scientific reasoning behind this valuable modality - learn it and you're on your way to a more extensive learning and understanding of what you the therapist are doing to the soft tissue of the body when utilizing this approach, how it sets the client up for recovery along with proper application timeframes. THERE IS SO MUCH TO LEARN!
This will be the last IASTM class of 2024!

SPORTS PERFORMANCE TRAINING IN SUNNY FLORIDA! 2025
MTI, along with a few other experienced massage therapists in our industry will be teaming up to teach a variety of muscular therapy injury-related and high-performance educational classes within the 8-week program. Let me explain further: Each week starting January 6th 2025, the instructors selected will teach the following subject matter during each week.
1. IASTM2. Shoulder & Mobility3. Hip Mobility4. Cryotherapy 101 ( 4 various ice applications)5. Practical Application each day with athletes
It's a full academic schedule throughout the entire week. 43 + CE credits
It's exciting and set up as if you're working in a sports medical setting... something you can take back to your own office and create that environment for your clients and athletes.
The weeks are as follows: Monday - Friday 9-5 pm each day
Week 1 January 6th
Week 2 January 13th
Week 3 January 20th
Week 4 January 27th
Week 5 February 3rd
Week 6 February 10th
Week 7 February 17th ( This is an ADVANCED IASTM WEEK)
Week 8 February 24th

The "takeaway" here is that you are learning so much more than just the "textbook" approach ~INVEST IN YOURSELF!!!!

I’ve been teaching, instructing, mentoring… ( what ever title or adjectives you want to place here ) to massage therapists for a long time …. I always get comments from therapists that I need to teach my anatomy classes… so I’m going to start doing that and when I teach it, I’m hoping to help so many more therapists along the way!
