When Life feels chaotic, I look at certain pieces in my Collection like Water, No.10 to draw a sense of Strength and Peace from it.
There was a 36-hour period over the weekend where my throat was inflamed, tough to swallow, and had trouble breathing when I tried to eat. My To-Do List had to wait. I’ve always found Water to be very comforting.
Speaking of water, I have a question for my fellow City of Jacksonville residents: Has there ever been an issue with the tap water? I moved near Beach Haven this weekend and noticed Sunday morning that the water smells like …my neighbor describes it as rotten eggs when I asked her about it yesterday. This is not normal.
I scrambled to locate a different place to move into. Which I’m set to move my things (again) this evening. Still, I’m extremely concerned for the local community and want to do some digging once I feel a bit better. But my neighbors don’t seem alarmed.
I’m not familiar with this part of town, but it’s one of the nicest areas of the City. I wouldn’t expect there to be a problem, but I have a bad feeling about this. Any insight would be helpful.

Part of my Studio time is looking at Analytics on Pinterest. Consistently at the top of the list in terms of Engagement is “Revive.”
Right now, it’s clearly No.1 which surprises me because I rarely Market this piece when promoting the Series.
It’s interesting to see what people respond to.

How many Veterans are homeless? How many Veterans commit su***de? How many Veterans feel forgotten after returning Home? Far too many. If America truly honors our Veterans, we will honor them for longer than a Weekend.

A Fresh Approach to Fine Art Photography by Eric C. Jackson Studio After more than 10 years of capturing Fine Art Photography, I continue to learn new techniques in Editing.
The Proof for “Prison of Despair” arrived ahead of Schedule. I must say did an amazing job. Print quality.💯
After sifting through pages, I think it needs… a personal essay and short Bio at the beginning of the book. Which will give readers more Context for the material.
One or two pages to share who I am and what inspired me to publish my Story. When people start reading, they’ll know where I was in Life. I’ll work on it this weekend.
For now, I’m a bit under the weather. It’s time for a break. Movie Night🍿”Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.” The first film is a favorite. Looking forward to watching the sequel.

The Preflight corrections are finished and I finally settled on a book title. The 330-page Collection will be available as Paperback and ebook. The Proof is currently in Production.
Coming up with an overarching Title for 3 Collections of Poetry/Prose was difficult because I wanted the writing to fit a more positive theme. But as I continued to read through my thoughts, emotions, and struggles, it is definitely not that.
This is tough for me to read, but I understand that writing became a positive outlet to release negative feelings. There are so many conversations to dive into from the Work. Hopefully, by this time next week, I can Approve the Proof.
My Writing from 2017 - Present Day is scattered from notepads and sticky notes to various devices unfortunately. I have to gather, read, and organize the writing for the next book. Theme? To be determined.
Shout out to for Suggesting this Song by Flora Cash. I assume the software analyzes your playlist and gives suggestions accordingly. While there have been plenty of misses because my taste in music is all over the place, Apple got me on this one.

Been reading my Work lately from years ago like the one here. It’s not really inspirational. None of it. Instead, my Writing searches for unspoken truths, skeletons in the closet, elephants in the room.
Which made conversations about my Work extremely uncomfortable for many people to the point where I slowly stopped sharing it as time passed more and more.
But as I look at what’s happening in the world today. I look at the condition of people’s hearts and souls, I feel the need to share again.
This Concept took shape over 7-8 iterations. Focused on Form and Lighting to shape the Composition. Then, I added Negative Space for breathing room.
Working on Composition. I may combine a few images into one instead of having multiple frames.
Color or B/W? There are certain things I like about both. Once I’m back in Studio this evening, I’ll see where this goes.
Spring 2023, new Guidelines for Pinterest Verification were introduced and the Studio’s Verified Status was Suspended in June 2023.
After months of communication breakdowns with Community Managers, I began researching the Subject to find other businesses were having the same issue.
One entrepreneur received the same Error messages from Pinterest’s new Conversion system that I was seeing. She implemented certain Steps that fixed the problem and shared this guide on YouTube.
This week, I worked on getting rid of each Error message, but it takes 24 hours for each change to sync between my website and Pinterest account. Thankfully, the Verified Status of the Studio was reactivated this morning.

My first Walk was in 2022. I Captured plenty of photographs and shared my favorites in a reel. When the local Host, Mrs. Nguyen, asked me to be an official Photographer for the Event this year, I was excited and nervous.
The butterflies fade once I’m in the moment. I was thrilled to see one of my Captures used in promotions yesterday. Looking from moment to moment at several spots around the world, I felt a sense of Unity that can seem rare nowadays. Thousands standing up for what is Right at the same time. A glimpse of the way it should always be.

“Walk For Freedom is our global awareness event, rallying tens of thousands of people, taking millions of steps, in hundreds of cities all over the world. We walk to disrupt the existence of slavery, shaking its very foundation with each step.”
Human Trafficking is the abuse of children, women, and men for their bodies and labor. It’s modern-day slavery. Learn more at a21.org

With all the heartache in the world, sometimes I feel helpless to change it. How can I focus on my Work when there is so much suffering? This was my opportunity to Stand with others around the globe to shed more light on the darkness that exists. Through giving our time and resources, we can help turn the tide.
It’s sad to realize my home State of Florida Ranks 3rd highest in the nation for trafficking and it’s something rarely discussed on the News. Events like this raise awareness as info packets are distributed during the Walk. Together, we can make a difference.
🎼 How many musical instruments can you identify? It’s a fun challenge for me to single out the unique sounds I hear, even if I don’t know what instrument is being used. Interesting how they combine to create melody.🎶

*Untitled (2023)
There is always a sense of Discovery during Photo Editing. While I have Concepts in mind, often times I jump down a rabbit hole and have to see where it leads. The Style of this piece veered off the original path.
Like a whirlwind of Color.

Series | Clarity
Ironically, the Vision behind the Series, “Clarity” was not completely clear. Originally Captured in Spring 2022, several pieces with good Compositions were Selected, but never added to the Studio Gallery.
The overall presentation seemed a bit off and I could never understand why ..until this evening.
After several failed approaches during Editing, I found an improved balance between Light and Shadow while decreasing the Depth of Field.
I hope to incorporate this new approach to the rest of the potential pieces successfully.
