At a house fire this morning, in which the residents were not home, and the house was charged with smoke…E30 reported “smoke showing from the attic” upon arrival…they made quick entry followed by L30 who began an initial search even after being advised all occupants were out…L30 crews quickly located 2 dogs in the home and scooped them up and hurried them out the back door…the dogs were in bad shape, and oxygen with pet masks were called for…the dogs were attended to quickly with compassion…the fire was extinguished quickly…we are happy to report that both dogs were on their feet running around the back yard due to the attention and treatment of multiple crews on scene and ultimately reunited with their owners. We don’t always have great results, but this one turned out as well as it could have, it’s teamwork!
