Had to knock the dust off our 96/97 LT1 tuning cables and software for this one lol. 120whp pick up from stock to AFR 195 LT1 heads, a CC 503 224/230 .536/.544 112 cam, headers, exhaust, cold air intake and a tune. 398/362SAE from a n/a old school LT1 is pretty damn good!

1965 GMC we had the pleasure of doing a frame off build for a close friend of ours.
It received a LS1, 4l60e, Vintage Air, Dakota Digital dash, 3.73 limited slip 12 bolt, 4/6 drop, power disk brake conversion, Borgeson power steering conversion, tubular control arms, American Auto Wire harness, Ididit tilt column and a bunch of other goodies.
We can not take credit for the body work and paint though. That was done by a family member of one of our employees in Louisiana.

It's a Vette kinda day!

Brubaker Performance will be accepting unwrapped and unopened toys for the 3rd annual Holiday Toy Drive Tour until Dec 22nd. All toys should be between 4yrs - 13yrs.

Dyno night is almost upon us! In addition, we will also be having a Super Soft Birthday party for the boss man, Josh Brubaker and our masta tuna, Ajay Lee. I should be posting about some LS swaps, dyno runs or some cool cars but unfortunately I am posting devastating news instead. It’s taken me 4 days to write this and I suck at this.

One of our beloved freinds/employee/family members Eric Colson passed due to injuries from a car accident last Wednesday night.

I met Eric a few years before we opened the shop through the local LSX car scene. We helped each other out on a few occasions then a few months after we opened I tried to get him to come work with us and he declined. Months later he reached out to me and asked if the offer was still there and I quickly brought him in.
Eric and Rob bonded very quickly and acted like brothers day in and day out and we had one hell of a team. We all shared the same passion for building and enjoying fast cars, hanging out outside of the shop, racing, having dinner together and skipping work to go to the track. When we got the dyno going it was exciting to see him and one of his best friends Ajay to be able to work together during their day jobs. If it wasn’t for Eric me and Ajay would not be the friends we are now. Eric brought a lot of people together that may not have liked each other and somehow around Eric everyone would get along.
Eric was one of the least selfish people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. At the shop we always were in a war on who would pay for lunch. You had to be sneaky and sn**ch the check up or hide money in his tool box or one of his vehicles, later I’d find it back under my keyboard. He did so much for so many without thinking of what was in it for him and never complained. We had to make him stop working at 6:00pm and he wouldn’t leave the shop until we all left together.
As much as this hurts us i can’t imagine what his family, children and Abby are going through.
Until we meet again every red light burnout i will think of you!

Today marks our 3 year anniversary of being open for business 🎉🍻!
I want to thank Brandy and Rob for being there before the beginning!
I actually tried to talk Rob into staying at the place we used to work at together not knowing how the business would start and if i could even afford to pay him but he really wanted to come with me.
Brandy was setting us up with all the legalities, painting and helping anyway she could while still working her day job and continued to do all our accounting for the first year un payed before we could afford to put her on payroll and have her working full time.
Thank you Eric aka Mr.Perfect! Eric came on 2 years ago and has been a huge asset to the BPI family and we are lucky to have him! His work and reputation has gained us even more business in the LS/LT community.
Thank you to all of our customers, friends, family, and the other businesses we work closely with or refer work to and from.

DYNO DAY!! Come on out, $75 cash for 3 pulls

ATTENTION NITROUS BOTTLE REFILL CUSTOMERS!

We have heard the rumors about the cost of nitrous going up significantly this year. We have also had one of our suppliers decide they no longer will sell nitrous unless the business that they are selling to has a ridiculous amount of insurance that no small business could ever afford.
Well we just received the bill for the 2 bottles we got last week and I about had a heart attack looking at it. On top of the price of the product and all the other fees and taxes this bill does not have the bottle rental fees on it since those are just rented from the gas companies and they bill you monthly for that, usually it ranges at $1.00 per day per bottle.
These bottles are supposed to contain 64lbs of nitrous but getting it all out NEVER happens. Average we only get around 50lbs before the liquid stops due to the siphon tubes not going all the way to the bottom of the bottles.
This bill not including rental fees for 2 bottles was $1104.31 for 100ish lbs of nitrous our cost!!!
In order for us to sell nitrous now and break even we will have to sell it at $12.00 per pound to cover the cost and the bottle rental fees!!!
We don’t sell nitrous to make a profit. The only reasons i have it is for my own and customer’s race cars and nobody else wants to deal with it so they just stop selling it.
If you call on us for a refill please don’t give us s**t about the price like we are trying to rip you off because that is far from the truth.
Pictures attached of the bill and what i got out of our last Airgas bottle showing 20lb of nitrous we couldn’t pump out.
Unfortunately this is probably going to make me switch my own setup over to Turbo🙄

The Dynojet 224XLC Dynamometer install is complete. We are down to calibration, testing and setup of the rest of the dyno room. Hopefully in the next week we can start scheduling dyno time and a dyno day.

Twinning Tuesday.

Another LS swap we just finished.
2003 Land Rover Discovery.
Remanufactured gen 3 5.3 with a kit from Alternative Conversion Engineering.
The GM 0411 PCM is piggy backed with the factory Rover PCM so the factory cluster, cruise control, hill decent, transmission, ac all work like they should. All of the emissions components were incorporated so it will pass emissions testing. It is extremely quiet and drives better than new.

Out with old, in with the new.
Removed the over cammed low compression carbureted 350 and swapped it for GM crate LS3. We installed a TSP stage 2 LS3 cam kit in it along with a Holley Terminator X Max engine management system.
Even though the car doesn’t have an electronic transmission currently we did the X Max for when the TH350 exits the chat and we go with an 80e so the controller and harness are already there.
We also built a custom fuel pump hanger to have a Aeromotive 340 fuel pump in the tank instead of a failure prone frame mounted pump since no one makes a fuel tank for these cars for an internal pump.
Next up for this one will be a builders kit Vintage Air A/C system as they don’t make a direct fit for these cars yet.

Is it considered an LS swap if we pull out a LS and install a different LS and redo all the previous LS swap work and add blower and a new fuel system and accessories?🤔
