Several members of the Onslow County Amateur Radio Club provided communications for the New River Splash Triathlon/Duathlon today. We had beautiful weather and I think everyone enjoyed the experience.

The Daily News ran articles the last two days about two local women who were murdered in separate incidents. Both cases appear to be related to domestic violence. I volunteered to dance with the Dancing Stars of Jacksonville this year to help share awareness about domestic abuse and help victims of domestic violence. Please support my effort to raise money for this very worthy cause.

Here is a close up the photo I posted yesterday. The differences in the photographs are subtle because the young lady has excellent skin. I removed a few minor blemishes on her face and added lip color.

I have completed the production of my new Sun and Surf DVD and it should be available for sale after April 1, 2013. The sixty minute DVD contains over 125 of my photographs and is set to the sounds of ocean waves crashing on the beach and relaxing music. Around Onslow opening reception today between 2-4 pm. One of my photographs "Pelletier House" will be on display at the Onslow County Museum between March 2 - April 27, 2013. The display "Around Onslow" is a collaboration of the Onslow County Musuem and the Council for the Arts. The show features local artists and the museum is located at 301 S.
