I was extremely fortunate and inspired listening to Andrew Bridegewater tell his testimony on how he matriculate from Jacksonville, Fl to being a Harvard Law School graduate. He was recently bestowed a juris doctor degree from this prestigious university.

I have known Andrew and his family for close to 20 years through their connection with my local church assembly. During these times Andrew explained that he had many challenging days academically in high school escaping with grades of C, D and the occasion F.

Andrew struggled with many challenges until one day a basketball coach whispered in his ear and said “Try a little harder.”These defining words would become fuel and energy that Andrew used to push himself. The narrative isn’t that once Andrew heard those words he stopped failing, the difference is he had more wins than failures.

His failures was just steps used to elevate him to Success.
Andrew learned from those failures and in 2021 in the mist of a global pandemic he graduated from Harvard Law School.

The best part is Andrew extended his email address to the young people so they can connect and utilize him as a resource.
