6th candidate running for PVRSI board
Hey y’all! My name is Christin Williams. I am wanting to introduce myself and convey my interest in becoming a part of the PVRSI board. A little about me- I have been married to Ethan Paulin for ten years, we have a daughter Emmaline who is in second grade. I worked at Wells Fargo as a banker and then a manager for eight years before becoming a stay at home mom, which I love!
Since becoming a stay at home mom I have so much more extra time to spend on things that my daughter and others can benefit from! I am currently the Raider Girls coach for the second year. I played youth basketball, cheered, danced, was on the track team, and graduated from Pleasant Valley and my family has always been involved in some way with the school and I would like to continue that! Community is everything and it’s such a special feeling to be apart of something that was so important to me at my daughters age. Please consider me when voting! I would love to be involved in helping and continuing to make a difference in our community!
5th Candidate running for PVRSI board
◦
◦ Hello, my name is Melissa Mccrelles. I am coming to you today to express my want to be a part of the PVRSI board. First, I would like to tell you a little about myself. I have been married to Jeremy for 19 years, we have 4 beautiful children, Anna, Lauren, Austin, and Savannah Grace, a fabulous son in law (Josh), and our favorite of all is our grands, Addison and Allison!I also have the privilege of being Auntie/Mama Marleigh, Cruz, and newest edition Memphis! I’m the State Military Transition Advisor for the Military, where I have the privilege to serve our country’s soldiers in their daily lives whether they’re still serving or transitioning out of service. I am the President of Pleasant Valley Youth Cheer, & Dance, and I am the Cheerleading Coordinator for NEAYA, which is our county’s youth football league Why do I want to be a part of PVRSI? For me, this is an easy answer. I’m have been a part of the PV community for 29 years. I have seen some of you come through this program, I’ve coached some of your children, and currently coach some now. The blessings these moments have given me are immeasurable. We are right in the middle of Cheer and football, so when I wake up in the morning, I often begin my day thinking about what I can do to help make the afternoon better for my “little friends”, and how to make this experience better for them. They’re more like family, and quickly become, basically, my own kids. Every time I see them, I think of how great this community has been, is and can be. I believe that I can help our community grow by bringing years of leadership and experience. At the end of the day, I want every single child that comes in our program to feel like they belong g, and that somebody cares about them and wants them to grow, through our sports, both athletically and through the many life lessons that all sports can bring. We have an opportunity, every year, to mold our kids, of our community, into future successful adults within our community. Youth sports is about more than the sports itself; it’s about our community’s future. This all start’s through the support of our community and for us, specifically, it starts with our board. We have a duty to serve every parent, and child and strive to be the best that we can so that we can compete athletically and professionally later. Please consider allowing me to be a part of the difference we can make together!

Raider Girls are selling raffle tickets if your interested please reach out to us or Christian Williams or Tracy Hubbard.

Hello!! Most of you know me from my previous years with PVRSI, but for the ones that don't, I would like to introduce myself. My Name Is Dana Hanners and I am a mother of 3 boys Tekoma (TK) Crump, Connor Crump, and TC Cooper. Tk graduated from PV in 2020 ,Connor is a PV Senior this year and TC is in Kindergarten at PV. We are heavily involved in Athletics at PV. TK played baseball, football, and was on the Wrestling team at PV. Connor played baseball, currently plays football #61 and is on the Wrestling team. TC has started his athletic journey this year in T-ball. I have had the honor of helping in all 3 sports in the past and enjoy working with all of the PV kids! I am excited to ask for your support and your vote for a place on the PVRSI board. I feel that I have the experience and Knowledge to bring good things and ideas to the table and would be honored to serve as a volunteer on this board to better help the youth within our community to achieve their athletic goals. Thank you for your time and consideration and It's GREAT TO BE A RAIDER!!
3rd Candidate running for PVRSI board.
Hi, my name is Will Warren, and I would like to run for the PVRSI board. I have lived in Pleasant Valley for most of my life, including the past 9 years with my wife Katie and my two kids, Ben and Bailey. Our kids have been a part of pvrsi since 2018. They have enjoyed learning from their coaches and making new friends each year. I am able to help maintain the grounds in any way necessary, and I've been told i have good people skills. I would like the opportunity to help the rest of the board continue to better the community. Thanks for the opportunity, and if you have any questions for me, please feel free to call or text. 256-282-8930.
Thanks again, and you all have a blessed day. And as always Go Raiders!!
2nd PVRSI board candidate.
Hello, my name is Skyla Garmon!
I have three beautiful boys Carter, Sawyer and Westynn! I am happily engaged to Dylan Mosley.
I would love nothing more than to run to be on the board for Pleasant Valley. My son, Carter Odom, played football going on two years and will be playing Basketball this year as well. I would love nothing more than to help in anyway I can to be apart of everything! The main reason for my interest in being a part of the board is because of how much I can possibly help other children including mine to better themselves and how much I love this community. I grew up out here and I love the fact I could potentially give my old school the chance to provide and aide in my children’s successes.
1st board candidate is Steven Deerman running for PVRSI board.
Hey everyone my name is Steven Deerman and I am currently running for a seat on PVRSI board.
I was raised in Pleasant Valley, where I played football, baseball, basketball and track. I have been a government employee for the last 10 years.
I am married to Meagan Deerman and have two children. Kaysen Deerman (7) Raelynn Deerman (10)
My son Kaysen has played baseball for 3 years for PVRSI where I have helped coach. He is now playing his first year of football for PVRSI on C team where I am also the assistant coach.
I would love to have a seat on the board to have the opportunity to be a positive role model for the children and pass on my love and passion for the sport to them.
