NO, I repeat, NO FALL MINIS this year..... Every year I have to shuffle my schedule and dodge the fall rain....I have to shift and squeeze to get everyone in and it never fails that I just can't do it all. So this year, No back to back minis. The reality is: You schedule a time, and still pay mini session pricing. win-win!

The Whitacre's are another sweet family that has invited me to their home over the years to follow their journey! Parker turned 6 this summer, and adopted a new puppy this year! Thank you so much for letting me tag along all these years.

Every year I get to see my friends, the Damcott family and we do a family photo session in their big yard. It's awesome and low-key and all the fun a family session should be! I've been doing the yearly sessions since Kara was a baby! So much fun! Thank you SO much Katie and Daryl!

The Minor Family - We had rain, clouds, & sun at this extended family session! Had a wonderful time with all these kiddos and the adults too! I was sweating though! 99% humidity. Caroline asked me why I was wearing pants. I had no good answer for her.

🍂Important Fall Info! 🍂

So! You can ask any of my fellow photographer friends and they will tell you fall weather hasn't been kind to us in the past.

I've made the decision not to run Fall minis back to back- Its too many people to get rescheduled in the event of bad weather. If you want to schedule a Fall session these are $150 and you get around 30-45 minutes of good shooting time before we are able to get a full sessions worth of images. In the event, there is rain or bad weather will do our best to get them rescheduled while the colors are still out. This really is dependent on everybody's busy schedules and of course, the fading light of fall for evening sessions. Unless you have a small child or a newborn. This 30-45 minutes of time works perfectly for families.

There MAY be some pop up minis (think long weekends) if the weather is looking particularly good & these would be at a discounted rate and a shorter time frame for families on-the-go.

So if you were dying for some fall photos in the beautiful colors of western New York - schedule soon as I am sure my books will fill up quickly! please be patient as I can only answer messages in the order they are received!

I'm currently around three weeks out on edits. Usually my turnaround is about two. I found that having the kids home during the summer leaves me very little time to get the bulk of my editing done during the days. Usually, when they're in school, it's much easier. Now I'm just stuck being a snack distributor and personal chauffeur!
