Check out some experimental palm tattoos I did on our piercer, Myah, today! ✨
I’ve been looking at getting into this kind of tattooing for a while, and after creating designs, Myah was kind enough to scoop them so we can see the healing in person over the next 4-6 weeks. From studying the healing process and results (with a touch up anticipated), I am hoping to offer palm tattoos as part of my specialties to those interested. Some things to consider are:

1. Palm tattoos are EXTREMELY painful, with a touch up most likely needed due to the thickness and quick shedding of palm skin, the needle needing to go deeper to make the ink stay, and the sensitivity of the nerves in the palm.

2. Palms are expected to take longer to heal (4-6 weeks) than a regular tattoo, with ideally minimal movement of the hands during the first week.

3. After this heal period is complete, any fading to the tattoo is what it will look like for the long term. Using your hands over time will NOT change this result or cause it to fade more, as once the ink is deep enough in the skin, it is there to stay. You will know if you need a touch up after 6 weeks, and once it heals out the way it should, you are good to go!

4. Healed palm tattoos will look grey instead of black, due to the thickness of layers of the epidermis that cover it once healed.

5. Simple lines and dotwork shading yield the best results. Even solid color is done with a liner dotted in, as shaders do NOT work on the palms.

This is what I currently know about palms, and with experience, hope to learn more! It was very eye opening, tackling this kind of tattoo for the first time, and am excited to see how they heal out, and what I need to change to yield the best possible result. Step 1. Email [email protected] to set up the tattoo appointment for one/both ears. The tattoo (per ear) is a flat rate of $200, whatever tattoo you’d like! If wanting a custom tattoo, please be sure to include a brief description, color/black&grey, a picture of your ears, and any reference photos you may have in your email. This post will be edited to reflect how many slots remain.

Step 2. At the tattoo appointment, Myah will consult with you to determine your budget, how many pokes needed, ear anatomy, and which custom jewelry to order in preparation for piercing curation. Jewelry will be ordered, and 3 piercings scheduled at a time (multiple appointments may be needed for optimal healing) for at least 2 weeks after the tattoo.

Step 3. Acquire piercings to complete the look, and rock a totally curated ear!

Note: This project will take multiple steps to complete, with non-refundable deposits required for the tattoo, and custom jewelry.

Hi everyone! Myah Magdalene here. I'm super excited to finally show everyone what my long-term client, Rowan, and I have been working on during the past year:
These pictures were taken right after we did the symmetrical eyebrow piercings, as well as downsized their tongue piercing {also pierced by me, not shown in pictures}.
These pictures also showcase their stretched septum {not pierced by me, but stretched by me} which is currently at an 8 gauge, as well as a small peek of their lobes {pierced and stretched by me} which are currently at a 12 gauge. We have plans to stretch both of these further in the future!
They are wearing my threadless titanium gems in the colors caramel and champagne, both 4mm, in their paired high nostrils {not pierced by me}, which we connected with a sick doubled black PVD coated surgical steel chain from bodyartforms.
Lastly, my favorite, is their fully healed bridge piercing {pierced by me}. This was the first bridge piercing I ever performed, and it turned out so well and healed seamlessly! Once fully healed, we downsized it with a threadless titanium barbell, connecting the ends of the bar with the same double black chain, but shorter, that we connected their nostril piercings with, and secured both ends with long, threadless, black PVD coated spikes {also from bodyartforms ; all other jewelry showcased is sourced from metalmafiabodyjewelry}
This client has appeared on my page before, but I felt like they deserved a proper feature! Rowan has been a regular client with me since my apprenticing days, and we have made so much progress with their ever-changing setup, though we definitely still have so much more work to do; we are currently looking for longer spikes for the bridge, still stretching up the septum and lobes, and much more! They will be calling every person on the list that signs up, no matter how long, and will end sign-up at 6pm. Designs are black ink only, but size is able to be altered.

Familiars Foster Network & Rescue is a completely foster-based 501(c)3 rescue specializing in the care of neonatal kittens and pregnant or nursing cats. They hope to relieve some of the pressure from high intake animal shelters in our area by providing placement for these sensitive populations that will not thrive in a typical shelter environment. Familiars Foster Network serves Southern WI and Northern IL.

🐾Our artists are very excited to be offering these cat-themed flash designs, with $25 for every $80 tattoo, $40 for every $100 tattoo, and $50 for every $120 tattoo being donated to the cause. We will have brochures from the organization, as well as a donation box if you’d like to bring extra goodies for the cats in the network.
