Yondu never

Toby is starring in our interview today! This super duper sweet pupper is as soft as he looks, and his personality is, too. His dad tells us that he walks at least a mile of hilly terrain with him each day, and we know one of his favorite things to do while visiting with us is to sniff every inch of the play yards with great focus. Thank you to Toby for being our guest!

Our next interview is with Flora! This delicate Morkie girl is happiest when she is receiving constant affection and reassurance that the world is a very soft, non-scary place. She is closely bonded with her brother Thor, who starred in his own interview filmed just before Flora's; he also makes a very quick appearance at the very end of this video, to provide his sister with some social support of his own. Our many thanks to both Flora and Thor for taking the time to give us these interviews!

Today's guest interview is with Thor! Our charming maltipoo fellow shows off his favorite pastime in this video. He'll make a brief celebrity appearance again later in his sister Flora's interview, which we'll post soon. Thank you to Thor for being such a snuggly guest!

Today's interview guest is Reagan! This sweetheart of a chocolate lab girl is nothing but joy. She has some years under her belt, but is 100% young-at-heart, and her favorite times of the day are when we go outside with her for some light fetch. Our thanks to this winning lady for giving us all such a lovely interview!

Today's interview guest is Kat Stevens! This petite fluffy girl is the very new little sister of Yondu, yesterday's interview guest. She won over the entire staff with her first hour with us - the staff scheduled on campus that morning were sending texts about her to the other staff members not present, just gushing over this charming kitten and how excited everyone should be to meet her! With a penchant for snuggling, purring, and the cutest playtimes conceivable, she left us all smitten. Thank you to Miss Kat for taking the time to visit with us for today's interview!

Today's guest is Yondu! This sweet guy is a well-behaved pup and one of the all-around nicest guests we have. He's a classic example of the loyal and loving 'best friend' dog stereotype - a true role model in canine society. We love having him come visit us when his family has to travel. Many thanks to Yondu for joining us for this little introduction!

Today's guest is extra special - Pablo! He has the distinction of being one of the most intelligent kitties we have ever met; as well as having incredibly clear social communication skills, he also has the ability to open closed and latched doors using the k**b. In fact, his skill set was first learned of during a dark, quiet, nighttime walk-through to check on our guests... Two large, lazy orange eyes suddenly reflected out of the darkness, up too high in the air, staring unblinking... It was terrifying, honestly! Once a light was flipped on, the breath-stopping eyes turned out to belong to Pablo, settled quite comfortably and regally on the top of the refrigerator, tranquilly surveying the scene, and quite unbothered by being discovered. Subsequently, we have witnessed him opening doors, boxes, and cabinets, and generally acting like he secretly has opposable thumbs (or is a wizard), and we have learned to use extra clips on his personal quarters' doors and to prop a chair under the cat room door's handle to prevent him from simply coming and going at his leisure when he's staying with us. He is fantastic and absolutely beloved. Thank you to Pablo for always being such a generous furry monster, and for participating in this interview!

Gaia is today's guest! This playful girl was so busy having a ball that she forgot we were doing an interview - but honestly, selecting a new leaf friend to gently carry as she romps around is a perfect demonstration of how delightful she is. This girl is an angel and can do no wrong, and we are devoted members of her fan club. Thanks to Gaia for sharing some of her time with us, and to Ares for making a guest appearance near the end of the video!

Today's guest is Ares, a big boy with an even bigger heart! We have had the privilege of knowing Ares and his sister Gaia for a while now, and their new little sister Polly has recently rounded their doggy household out to a trio. Ares has absolutely no recognition of his stature, and is just sure he's meant to be a full-time lap dog... an oversized, wiggly, accidental-bull-in-a-pottery-shop lap dog. We adore big dogs, and this guy is one of the best. Special thanks to Ares for coming to visit us and taking time for this interview!

This fluffy young man, Milo, is the new little brother of our cherished guest Hank, and is the third white goldendoodle we have had the pleasure of hosting from his family. He is under a year old and does not stop moving! Interviewing such a puppy was a new experience for us, but Milo's excitement over just being here was unaffected by our intentions, so we did not bother asking him to sit and chat with us during the interview; instead, we caught of few glimpses of him as he was whirling around checking out everything in our facility, and provided him with petting whenever he would slow down enough for us to discern more than just an energetic blur of white fluff whizzing around. Our thanks to our new friend Milo for visiting us today!

These two SWEET boys are just some of the best boys we get to see! Rufus, the brown elder brother, is socially savvy and engaging, and a clear communicator with us; Willis, the black and white pup, is younger and doesn't always seem to know what's happening, but he rolls with it all jovially nonetheless, and lets tolerant Rufus to do all of the thinking for both of them. These two pups are beloved by all of us, and we are always happy to see them. Thanks to Rufus and Willis for joining us for today's interview!

Mosey's sweet, cuddly personality is obvious here, but he's also quick on his feet when it's playtime outside! This good boy is always ready for pets, and never seems anything less than happy, even when we spend the whole time laughing at his pink tongue constantly poking out of his mouth like a cartoon. Today's interview is with Oso, a doodle with a lot of personality and a big heart! When he's not visiting us, Oso enjoys doing volunteer work visiting people who need extra lovins. He loves all of his humans and only wants to be loved back, which we are more than happy to provide this sweet boy. Our thanks again to Oso for joining us for this interview!

We are thrilled to introduce our good boy Moose in today's interview! This sweetheart has been visiting us for many years, and is a consistent staff favorite due to his engaging personality, unending patience with being dressed up in cute attire, and obvious satisfaction with being carried around like a teddy bear most of the day. Today's guests are two lab ladies who are very different about their preferred activity levels, but very similar in their high affection desires! Miss Molly took full advantage of her interview time by circling back and forth getting pets from both interview hosts, while tranquil Allie Jo took advantage of having someone else satisfy Miss Molly's extroverted social demands for a while. This interview is a small example of what their daily outdoor times with us look like; Miss Molly runs around and plays with toys and get ear scritches between bursts of activity, while Allie Jo usually just does her business and then finds a spot near us to stretch out and receive pettings. Thank you to both of these wonderful ladies for taking the time to visit with us!

This lovely Vizsla lady is a frequent and cherished guest, and we are honored to be able to introduce her to you today! She's a very clever girl and expressed some concerns about giving a candid interview without her publicist present, but ultimately was a good sport about it. As she shyly demonstrates in the video, she is a very affectionate guest, but that is only one facet of her personality - true to her breed, she is also very high energy, and her visits include a lot of fun activity time with us outside to help her feel happy and content. George and his beautiful sister Gracie came to visit us for the first time, and he was more than happy to ham it up and flirt scandalously in front of the camera during our interview! George's interview speaks for itself, so I'll take this opportunity to talk about his sister, Miss Gracie, a dilute calico... As she was much more demure and a little camera shy, we of course did not press her to join the interview; instead, she received some additional love off-camera to make sure she did not feel like her brother was getting unfair special treatment (and because she's absolutely gorgeous and ultra-cuddleable). Hopefully, she'll feel more comfortable about giving us her own interview next time we see her. Thank you to both of them for sharing their time with us!

Lizzie is DogWoods ROYALTY! This girl has a job and does incredible, life-saving work that we humans cannot do with our simple noses. Her training routine continues while she is staying with us; she must demonstrate her service task before every meal time, and she always does so promptly and with 100% accuracy! What a rockstar! Her small sprightly brother, Sonny, is no service dog... he does what he wants, and the rest of us better just know our place in his world order. 🤣 Many thanks to both of them for giving such a clear demonstration of their different personalities in our interview!
