The Chattahoochee Trail Horse Association’s Board of Directors is excited to announce a $300 donation from the Georgia Horse Council. This money will be used for trail maintenance and improvement in the North Georgia area. Specifically, these funds will be applied to a contractor proposal for heavy maintenance at the Jake/Bull Mountain Trail System. We are now within $200 of meeting our goal of $16,000 as part of this effort. Contributions to this goal can be made via PayPal at the CTHA website www.Ride-CTHA.org. As is evident by this donation, The Georgia Horse Council continues to promote the equine industry within our state and offers valuable services to its members, most notably $1,000,000 equine liability insurance. We are very pleased to announce that The Sylvia Team has joined JRV Realty of North Georgia. We can't be more excited about this venture.

Rich has had many years and much success in selling large acreage cattle and horse farms across north Georgia. Ironically that’s exactly how my husband and I came to know Rich. He was the listing Broker on the farm we purchased. We hit it off during the win/win transaction and through Rich we met so many equestrians in our new town. Rich recently sold his 60-acre horse farm in Talking Rock, GA and told me he is ready to re-focus on Real Estate.
Meanwhile, our brokerage was recently bought-out with an Arizona based brokerage and we felt like just a number. So many brokerages are consolidating – like everything in America today, I just don’t like being a number.

Well, a few brain-storming and meetings later, JRV Realty is now a four-man team. In addition to Rich, Jim, and myself, we have also teamed up with Keith Hunter.

Keith lives on a 50-acre horse farm in Lafayette/ Walker County located just south of Chattanooga. Not only are he and his wife, Georgianna, experienced horse people, but they also have years of experience with buying and selling fixer uppers and managing rental properties.

After 16 years there, the passion only grew. So, in 2017 we moved to Talking Rock, GA and purchased a 38-Acre, 11-stall barn, gutted and remodeled the farmhouse. Starting our 8th year here, we’ve never looked back! The joy of being in the country and away from the sprawling suburbs of Atlanta Metro is the best decision we’ve made twice now.
