We appreciate your patience and support as we continue to ensure reliable water service for our community. Thank you, team, for your hard work and commitment!
Six of our dedicated team members are currently attending the annual Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP) Conference. This prestigious event is a fantastic opportunity for our staff to gain valuable insights, share knowledge, and network with other industry leaders.

🌱💧 Attention All Water Users! 💧🌱
Hello, JCWSA water customers. As we enjoy the lush landscapes that beautify our community, it's important to remember our shared responsibility to use water wisely. While we currently don't have any watering restrictions, they could become a reality if we don't start conserving now.
Please be proactive. Here are a few simple steps you can take:
Adjust Your Sprinkler Timers: It’s easy to "set and forget" our sprinkler systems. Please take a moment to adjust your timers to ensure you're not overwatering. A little adjustment can go a long way.
Reposition Sprinkler Heads: Make sure water lands where it should – on your lawns and gardens, not the sidewalks or streets. This small fix can save gallons of water from being wasted.
Mindful Watering: If your garden doesn’t need water daily, consider reducing the watering frequency. Keeping an eye on the weather forecast can also help you plan better and avoid unnecessary watering, especially before or after rain. Lastly, be certain to stop watering during periods of rain.
Together, we can make a significant impact. By taking these steps, we not only save precious water resources but also help ensure that our community remains sustainable and vibrant. Let’s all do our part and show that we care about our water resources and our neighbors.
Thank you for making a difference.

Thank you for your continued support as we grow together!
Big shoutout to our amazing team at Jackson County Water and Sewerage Authority for their incredible work yesterday! 🌟 A significant leak was spotted on B Whitfield Road near Highway 129, involving a massive 16-inch pipe. The damage was severe, eroding the valve and tapping saddle which required immediate replacement. Our dedicated team, with help from Bob McWorther of Ferguson Enterprises, who made a round trip to Columbus, Georgia to fetch the necessary parts, worked tirelessly through the night. They wrapped up the repair under the lights around 3 AM, ensuring minimal disruption to our service. We're so proud of their hard work and the expertise they bring to the table. Way to go, JCWSA team! 👏💧
Don’t let “flushable” wipes woo you this Valentine’s season.
It’s time to give your pipes the love they deserve by only flushing the 4 P’s (P*e, P**p, Puke, and Paper) down the toilet.
Your Pipes Don’t Love Wipes!
COLD WEATHER ALERT.
🚰❄️ Quick Tip for Cold Weather: Keep your pipes from freezing and bursting by simply letting your faucets drip. This method is cost-effective because the amount of water used is minimal, and the potential damage from a burst pipe can be far more expensive to repair. Letting your faucet drip all day at one drip per second will only cost you about 6 cents.
Stay warm and safe this winter and thank you for being our customer.
Seasons of Pendergrass Residents - Important Update:
As of January 9, 2024, 6:20 AM:
Our dedicated water field crew worked tirelessly overnight, from approximately 9 PM to after 1 AM, in challenging conditions of heavy rain, to repair a water leak in the Seasons at Pendergrass Subdivision. They successfully completed the repair while keeping the system operational, thereby maintaining consistent water pressure and avoiding a boil water advisory. The complexity of the task was heightened by the intense water spray, the need for dewater pumping, and the severe weather. As of this morning, we have restored service to all but one affected customer. Your understanding and patience are greatly appreciated during this time.
Attention Residents in Seasons of Pendergrass Subdivision:
Please be aware that there is a water leak on Sunrise Lane. During the repair process, residents within the Seasons of Pendergrass Subdivision may notice reduced water pressure. We are working diligently to resolve this issue and appreciate your patience.
