Sophia passed on from an extremely rare form of pediatric brain cancer called DIPG. Her dog, R***r “Roo” (she nicknamed because he can jump high like a kangaroo) a rescue from Tennessee, brought her a tremendous amount of joy while here together. May is Brain Cancer Awareness Month and Sophia Sunshine is fundraising all month long to help make a difference. Please support our mission!

What sets you apart can sometimes feel like a burden and it’s not. A lot of the time, it’s what makes you great. Being different simply means you have something unique to offer the world.
Don’t be afraid of being different, be afraid of being like everyone else. The fear of being different prevents most people from seeking new ways to solve problems, create solutions and excel in unusual things.
People will judge you for being different and not living by society’s standards, but deep down, they wish they had the courage to do the same.
