This event aims to help people see that living a healthy life is not only nourishing but easy and enjoyable. We want to get people excited about living a plant-based lifestyle and give them the tools to empower them to take action in their life.
We will talk about healthy eating, what it means, and how to approach it. Prior to the event, we will send a booklet that includes tools like a shopping list, and simple recipes to do at home.
This is not a class or a lecture, so ideally, we will all be around a table (like a kitchen island) where we can chat and ask questions as I prepare and share some of the recipes to enjoy them together.

We are sad to announce that today we received confirmation that Yoga Fest Jersey City 2020 will be cancelled. Jivamukti Yoga Jersey City along with the city government Jersey City and state governments of New Jersey feel that in the interest of public health that this year’s event be postponed until till 2021.
We would like to think both the city and HDSID for the support during this time in regards to the 2020 event. We would like to think all the vendors, sponsors, artist, volunteers and yogis who were going to be a part of this year’s event. Thank you all for your love and support with Yoga Fest Jersey City. We will all come out of this stronger and we look forward to see you all at Yoga Fest Jersey City 2021.

This year’s key festival’s yoga teacher is HaChi Yu ❤️❤️❤️ Yoga Fest Jersey City and Jivamukti Yoga Jersey City are delighted to host her both for the Saturday June 20 festival and a Sunday June 22 Masterclass at the Jivamukti Yoga Center downtown Jersey City. Here is more about HaChi.

HaChi Yu is an Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher and the director and founder of LaLaLå! Jivamukti Yoga Los Angeles, which opened in 2019 and is the first and only Jivamukti school on the west coast. She was born and raised on the Lower East Side of NYC, in the same time and place as Jivamukti itself. She was a principal dancer with Feld Ballet/Tech for over 20 years during which time she also performed with various companies and productions on and off-Broadway. She has served as producer, faculty, mentor and Program Director for Jivamukti Yoga® Teacher Training programs internationally. HaChi has studied with esteemed teachers within many traditions including: Sivananda, Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Tripsichore as well as being certified in various movement modalities including Gyrotonic ™ and Pilates. Her background as a dancer and teacher has taken her around the world where she has taught master classes at colleges and universities…and performed on many of the world’s finest stages with some of the greatest performing artists of our time.
Through dynamic movement, intelligence, and fluidity Ha-Chi’s classes focus on the practices of yoga as an integration of ancient teachings applied into our modern day life- with relevance, joy and reverence. .
