🤓 No! Although a sunscreen offers protection from sunburn, it does not block all of the sun’s damaging rays. To fully protect yourself, remember to seek shade, avoid peak hours of sun exposure and wear a long-sleeved shirt, wide-brimmed hat, and sunglasses IN ADDITION to applying sunscreen at least every two hours. ⁠

DO YOU PRACTICE SAFE SUN? 🔆 Here are some common areas that we miss or forget when applying sunscreen:⁠

FEET🦶 When you're wearing sandals or going barefoot, the tops of your feet are exposed and often left unprotected.⁠
⁠
EARS👂️ We usually put sunscreen on our face, but what about your ears? Ears, especially the tops, are exposed to the sun quite often.⁠

EYELIDS 😑 The skin around your eyes is sensitive and can easily get burned. Consider using a sunscreen specifically formulated for the face and sensitive areas, or wearing UV-blocking sunglasses.⁠

NECK 👕 If you have a ball cap on but if your hair is short or pulled up, the back of your neck is exposed.⁠

HANDS 🤙 We often wash our hands after applying sunscreen, so they can be left unprotected. The skin on our hands also ages more quickly than other parts of our body, so it's essential to protect them.⁠
