when creativity strikes me i try to let it just “be.”

my mind often tries to lead me to overthink my art. “would anyone buy this? is this unique enough? anyone could draw this. would someone want color on this? is black and white too boring?” the list goes.

I let those goes with these. I let any thoughts that were negative or with a purpose of selling away. I thank God for creativity. I love my drawings and I love their simplicity and freedom. I may sell these but I may not—and that’s okay :) in the meantime, enjoy these guys inspired by wild bouquets, summer + beach trips ✨

the last day of the earth friendly challenge🌿 the most important challenge of all—be intentional!

try not to impulse buy, picture items in your home and exactly where they’d go, do you really need that top and what would you wear it with? Question your purchases—think about those spurts of deep cleaning. Do you really need this item to add to that pile or is it something that has a purpose and brings you joy that isn’t momentarily?

This lifestyle is a slow process but a worthwhile one. I hope you have enjoyed learning to live more slowly in purchases for a more sustainable household. Please feel free to always ask me questions and let me know something new you’ll be trying or stopping (:

day 24 of the earth friendly challenge: use what you have!🍉 we used a ton of leftover watermelon we add and a little bit of lemon juice to make popsicles with a reusable popsicle mold. I wish now I would’ve thought to buy popsicle sticks as they are compostable but at least this will last a good while. it’s all about being open to learning and not buying impulsively!

recipe for watermelon (or any fruit) popsicles:

4 cups fruit
1 tablespoon of lime/lemon juice
2 tablespoons of honey

blend all together and freeze overnight! you could add yogurt too for a creamy taste🍉🍓🍊

one of my favorite all time products is this shaving soap from 🫧 It’s so smooth, smells SO good and simple to use! Janna is also one of the sweetest people ever and all of her other products are ah-mazing ✨
