Our last day was short but it was sweet! We enjoyed our last moments with our teachers and friends. The teachers celebrated all the students’ achievements this year as they left the school building with dancing and cheering (and a little air guitar!) We wish our Saints a relaxing and fun summer! The 6th grade class would also like to thank Mr. Abrams for his guidance the last 2 years as Principal and Mrs. Shear, ASL interpreter, for her tireless efforts in supporting our students’ success. They also want to recognize Mrs. Rabarsky who helped begin their journey at St. James in Kindergarten and Mrs. Kreeger who helped bring their journey to a close in 6th grade whom both are celebrating 10 years of service with the CSBC. 🎉🎉🎉

Thank you to our families and friends who attended our Spring Concert featuring our Saints Elementary Band and “Tweet..A Musical for the Birds”! We are so proud of our students’ hard work, dedication and commitment to their performances especially to our 6th graders who created the set, chose the costumes and stage managed the musical. A huge THANK YOU to Mr. Vollmer and Ms. Suzanne who helped bring it all together! The students K-6 also had the opportunity to design their own costumes and set ideas and they were displayed at concert! BRAVO TO ALL!! 👏🏻 🎶 🎤 🎺 🥁 🪈 🐦

Given the feedback from our families and community, we are so excited to announce that we will be offering a Full-Day PreK3 class at St. James for the 2024-25 school year! This class will run every day from 8:20-2:30 at St. James in Johnson City, and families have the option of 2, 3, or 5 days a week.

Our first ever Silent Disco will be Friday, May 31st from 6-8pm in Owens Hall!

A silent disco is when people are having a dance party while listening to music through headphones. Dancers get to choose between 3 music channels so people with different music tastes can choose which music channel they want to listen to.

This also means that if you want to talk to each other, you no longer have to shout over the music, you can simply take off your headphones to talk.

On this Mother’s Day, we are reminded of how our Heavenly Mother loves us, intercedes for us, and protects us. Our Kindergarten and 6th grade students led us in prayer and devotion to Mary this past Friday to remind all of us of this. We wish all of the Mothers and Grandmothers of our school community bountiful blessings and a Happy Mother’s Day! Mary, Morning Star, Pray for us! 🙏🏼💐😇✝️
