Owners Becky Smith I started out as "mobile" but most our customers would rather come to us so I now have a studio set up in my home.
I will however still do "mobile" tans for groups of 3 or more. Before you tan – Shower, shave and exfoliate either the night before your tan or up to 2 hours before your tan. Do not apply any lotions the day of your appointment. Makeup and deodorant should be removed before tanning as they can act as a barrier. After you tan – While the spray tan is fresh it is vulnerable to getting damaged. Wait
until your skin is dry to the touch before putting on loose, dark clothing. If you can, avoid wearing underwear, especially a bra. Avoid sitting on any light colored furniture or wearing light colored clothes while your skin is still wet as it can stain
Avoid laying the palms of the hands on other body parts for any period of time, as you can end up with brown palms. The first hour is the most crucial because that is when most of the tan develops. Try to avoid sweating or getting water on the skin for the first few hours as these can ruin your new tan. Do not shower for at least 5 to 6 hours after your tan. It is best to shower the morning after. When you shower the first time, you might think all your tan is being washed away, but this is only the bronzer. The real tan has developed in the top layer of your skin and a shower will not remove it. How long will my tan last? – Typically a spray tan will last 5 to 7 days. You can help prolong your tan by keeping the skin moisturized, avoiding long hot showers or baths. Pat the skin dry as opposed to vigorous rubbing. When to get a spray tan – Some people like to tan all year around, others like to tan only in the spring or summer and some like to tan for a weekend outing. Our spray tans are also great for proms, weddings and many other special events. We recommend you do a trial spray a few weeks before your big event to ensure that you will be happy with the color and depth of your tan. We can always customize your tan by going lighter or darker
