Spread the word that someone is once again stealing catalytic converters in the area... last night it was off Pearl Street

ATTENTION NEIGHBORS:
There is an older model CRV (blue) with VT license plates that has been tearing up and down Railroad Street and Clark Avenue at high speeds today. It is a car full of younger (17-22?) men. They seem to just be "joy riding" but it's not creating joy for those of us with pets and kids that live on these streets. I *think* the driver lives on River Road West. He has dark hair, thin frame. There is a blond hair passenger and at least one other young man in the back.
I called the sheriff's department about this reckless driving and turns out there is a vehicle that matches that description that was stolen a few days ago!! Deputy Costa was very grateful to get this information that they could not have otherwise gotten without the eyes and ears of the community. If you see this vehicle PLEASE call the Sheriff's Department. They are on the lookout too.

After way too many reports of theft and vandalism on railroad street I've decided to start this page for all the decent people/families on Railroad st.
