As I look at my stack of pinned skirts and those ready to sew...as I inch closer to the debut of this business... I find God whispers these reminders to me often throughout my day! What blesses do you see today?

Are we rushing past God’s goodness?

One summer when my son Mark was working at a camp and feeling homesick, I mailed him a special care package to cheer him up.

I was a little disappointed when several days passed, and I hadn’t heard a word from him about the package.

When we called to ask if he’d received it, Mark simply said, “Oh yeah, I did. But I haven’t opened it yet.”

Who gets a gift of love packaged up and sent to them and doesn’t even take time to open it?

In that moment, the Holy Spirit pricked my soul, “Lysa, in all of your rushing, you do this very same thing to me.”

God places gifts of love all throughout our days, things he knows we need. But it’s up to us to slow down enough to even notice. - Lysa TerKeurst

New Logo and hand stamped tags in the works! Can't wait to debut this business....and all the while I have been sewing away on all sorts of re-desgined items for our little shop!

Hello again!!! Its been waaay too long!!! :) Sewing pile is getting bigger and soon very soon I will debut our first line of re-designed modest apparel! I promise it will be worth waiting for :) Until that special day...keep checking back for sneak peeks!

Coming soon...."A Simple & Charming Modest clothing line." We will have a mix of vintage, western, and classic styles. Most of these will be re-created in some way, adding a little charm to any wardrobe. Some will be one of a kind pieces! We pray as we begin the first steps in sewing these wonderful pieces that each person who wears these will be reminded that their beauty in the Lord is "far above rubies!" and that the idea of modesty can be the most beautiful thing of all!
