Hello Everyone! It seems that by some meta-miracle, there are some folks who are new around here. What a blessing?!?! Welcome!!! As an intro to some (and a refresher for others), here are a few fun facts about me:

1. I am a GIRLY-GIRL… and often the one in every friend group that is this way. I love to shop, dress up whenever possible, & binge watch romance movies and shows (while crying real tears too lol)!

2. My favorite color is emerald green and I’m also realizing that Sea-foam green/teal and pink are becoming a fav as well

3. I have been in Atlanta for 14 years now but I’m originally from Columbia, SC.

4. I’m a wife (almost 13 years in this thang) and a mom to two - Khi & Avery (affectionately known to most as “Frick & Frack)

5. I LOVE unique earrings…They’re my jam!

It’s Friday and I’m tired of this cold weather yall. I just want to be somewhere in the tropics with my feet in the sand and sipping on a cocktail (or 3) in 80 degree weather. I know it’s chilly outside but this engagement session with Candace & Xavier gave me all the heat I needed! I travelled to Newberry, SC, from ATL to capture their love story! We went down memory lane as we captured their engagement photos on the campus of Newberry College where the two experienced several of their early dates. We even got a chance to capture their love story in the dining hall. Talk about epic!!!

I’ve been “in my own little corner, in my own little world…” and just celebrated my 38th trip around the sun on 11/02/23. I’d be lying if I said the last 371 days have been easy because truthfully, it has been a hard year filled with lots of ups and downs (sometimes more downs than ups) but God has blessed me and my family beyond measure and for that I AM THANKFUL! I can keep smiling because I Know trouble doesn’t last always. The older I get, the truer those old gospel songs get for sure!

So I’m celebrating myself, 38 beautiful years, perfectly imperfect, in my favorite color, in one of my favorite places. I STILL drink daily, have frequent runs weekly, love luxury for less, make time for friends and family, drink my water and mind my own business!

Also… dope shots are what happen when you set up your Nikon for your Canon Shooter cousin Kennedy Bush and say Fire Away!!! I think she’s a Nikon girl now 😂😂😂
