We will be having fewer types of classes as my instructors have moved away.
If you have a desire to share your talent with others and want to teach a class get in contact with me.

There is some people that are asking about my activity. My work area in pretty tight, so can't really distance and some classes require you to share tools and such. I miss all of you but not at this time.
Now if you would like to attend some demonstrations, I will be in Hanover, Ks on Sunday Aug 29th at the Pony Express Station just north of Hwy 36. From about 10 am to 4pm. Plenty of shade and entertainment, plus some history of how the mail got started. There is a museum with AC to take a break. Would love to see you.

A friend has dropped off a few hand sewn face masks. Anybody need one?

Not much going on here at the store. I have new flowers and they look pretty healthy. I decided to take Smokey(the cat) to the country. Just having to many incidents with having her here. So if you are allergic or just don't like cats, I will be cleaning out the hair. Hope more will feel they can be comfortable.

Wish I could say when we will start having classes again. It is still unknown.
Not enough room to be 6' away and we can't share tools.
I miss you all.

I hope all of you are staying healthy. I sure miss my friends stopping by. I am looking forward to the day we can spend some time together crafting.

We are part of the Dorothy Bramlage Library's. Learning is For Everyone program. We will not be having classes until they open.

Knitting and Crochet class for sat Feb 1st has been cancelled. Bother Sue and I have a church fundraiser that day.
We will see you next month on the first sat at 10 am.

Friday night, mixed media class!! This is pick your own design at 6 pm cost $30.00. Let me know which design you want to do, you need to have taken at least 1 class already.

Jan 16 Basket Weaving 6 pm Bread Basket $18.00 need to bring 2 stripes of fabric at lest 2 yards and 4 more coordinating colors same size.
Jan 24 Mixed Media Heather Scott 6 pm $30.00. if you have missed class or want to make another now is your chance. You have to have made one perviously. You choose the design. It is required to notify us of the design.

Just some information. I am trying to keep things going. Please be patient with me. I may not be at the store as much as before. Call and make appts and I can be sure to not miss you.

It is time to let everyone know what is in the works at Hobby Haven.Sept 7 at 10 am Knitting class. Bring a # 8 needle and sport weight Red Heart yarn. Cost is $10.00
Sept 12th at 6 pm Basket weaving using a gallon jar we will weave around to make a container to hold liquids. $15.00
Sept 17th Cards 2 U 6pm. Cost $15.00 Five card Frenzy you will receive a FREE bottle of glue.
Sept 27th Mixed Media at 6pm cost $30.00

Here is a heads up for a class that is going to be fun. Oct 14 at ,5 pm we are going to make a Fairy House from recycled soda bottles. Look around for things to put with it. Dollar General has some, Dollar Tree has brick sidewalks etc.
Second day will be Oct26 at 10am

Also we are starting knitting classes again in Sept. It will be 1st sat of the month.

It is almost July!!! I will give you the upcoming dates.
July11 6 pm cost $25.00. it is a condiment Basket. It is made with a solid wooden base with a wooden divider. The reed goes into the wood at the base.
July 18 Acrylic Pour 6:30 pm cost $25.00 you will need to pick 3-4 colors and let me know ahead of class.
July 22 Paper stiches with Rita Kraushaar 4pm cost$25.00. This is a paper quilt pattern you are going to pick different colored paper and glue together place in a wooden frame 12x12.
July 23 Cards 2 U. 6pm cost is $15.00 for 3 cards.We will be using the Gina K Wreather Builder. If you have a Misty or a stamp postioner, you will need to bring it.

The baskets made Thursday night. June 13th.

Barn Quilt Class on April 27th at 9am.cost is $40.00. Bring your design,or your ideas; snacks and drinks. If you have a straight edge at least 24 inches, not have to. Class is scheduled until 3pm or when your design is drawn and first coat of paint. 785-223-1926

The only class scheduled for May is on May 16th. It is a basket class at 6pm, Cost is $25.00. It is a flag with a metal star as a hanger.

Mixed Media on April 12th at ,6pm cost $30.00. There are openings. If you have previously taken a class,you can pick any missed designs.
