Teaching the “wait” and “release” is a great activity to practice with your dog with variable difficulty levels. The sky is the limit on how easy or hard you make it. So meet your dog where they are at in their abilities. If they make a mistake, no biggie, reset and try again. Enjoy the sun everyone!!!

Teaching a station is a great way to keep clear communication when you want your dog to be in a specific spot while training. This is Dot’s first session learning this station and just watch how excited she gets when she figures it out!
Dogs need reliable recall to stay safe and so they won't affect the physical or emotional safety of others.
You can teach excellent recall when you are:
1 - Motivated to practice.
2 - Motivating to your dog.
