Built in 1927 and on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, the beautiful 10-story Comeau office building in the heart of West Palm Beach has just completed a multi-million dollar renovation — enhancing the significant art deco touches with modern office comforts and amenities.

Under new ownership by Morning Calm Management, Black Diamond General Contracting, Inc. was contracted to remodel the Great Room, the main and second floor lobbies, as well as multiple upper floor common areas and restrooms, with the addition of an amenity center (including a gym, conferencing facility, and tenant lounge).

Offering fabulous views of the city and intracoastal waterway and recognized for its classic architecture and grand entrance, every historically significant detail was preserved throughout construction, and we think the end result speaks for itself.

The notable and historically significant Harvey office building on Datura Street in downtown West Palm Beach, affectionately known as “The Harvey” has received a facelift and is back in business!

Last year Black Diamond General Contracting, Inc. started remodeling the main floor lobby and multiple upper floor common areas and restrooms, including the addition of an amenity center — with a multi-purpose conferencing facility and tenant lounge.

Today, our Boca Raton-based client, Morning Calm Management presents the landmark 14-story building to the downtown — offering historic charm with modern conveniences for all your commercial and professional office needs.

Black Diamond General Contracting, Inc. had a great time transforming Compass Self Storage wine storage facility in Jupiter into a premier storage space for wine collectors and enthusiasts. Compass Self Storage is your all-in-one storage solution, equipped to meet any of your storage needs – and that also means a low-light, climate-controlled environment to best maintain the quality and integrity of your wine collection.

We installed state-of-the-art wine guardian cooling systems on the interior, and custom-made insulated walnut glass doors, and stained red oak woodwork on the exterior to create a superior finish.

We just finished this charming renovation project right in the town center of Tradition — the thriving master-planned development in Port St. Lucie. This cheerful Town Hall is the cornerstone of the tight knit Mattamy Homes USA community.

Tradition is all about reimaging small town living with modern, fresh amenities and experiences, and that is exactly what Black Diamond General Contracting, Inc. delivered in this restoration project. We modernized facilities, revamped the kitchen and bathrooms, reimagined community and social spaces, and gave this multipurpose building a fresh facelift.

What a great day celebrating the groundbreaking of the new-build construction project for FoundCare, Inc. for their new two-story 20,000 SF health services building in Riveria Beach. The Center will provide a one-stop shop for healthcare services, including pediatric and adult primary care, chronic disease management, behavioral health services, dentistry, infectious disease services, women’s health services and an on-site pharmacy and laboratory.

Since the mid-eighties FoundCare have recognized regions with an unmet need for health care services and used a variety of treatment techniques to help their patients take responsibility for their own well-being — to achieve optimal health. Black Diamond General Contracting, Inc. is very excited to partner with this holistic healthcare provider and build a fully functional healthcare center to service those in need in our local area.

Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is excited to officially announce the completion of Phase One of their new, expanded facilities. This "forever home" is four times larger than their previous facility and allows them to provide conservation education to more children and families. The new campus also includes extensive rehabilitation areas for wildlife.

Justin Howard, President and CEO of Black Diamond General Contracting, Inc. and his team sponsored the "Classroom" component of this project, highlighting their passion for education and the local community. We truly hope this gesture will inspire younger generations to learn about wildlife, environmental conservation, and community service for years to come.

Black Diamond General Contracting, Inc. just completed the $8 million interior build for the Aventura Medical Tower Ambulatory Surgery Center on the ninth floor of the existing Aventura Medical Tower — a complex and logistically challenging project. We hope the pictures speak for themselves …

This 12,240 SF multispecialty state-of-the-art facility boasts three operating rooms, one procedure room and 12 pre and post-operative bays. The center is fully accredited and conveniently located next to Aventura Hospital. We can clearly see this national surgical solutions provider has a vision to be the safest place in America to have surgery — cheers to health being our priority and Black Diamond being there to deliver the results!

Several of our Black Diamond General Contracting, Inc. team members bookended 2023 with a huge volunteering effort for one of our favorite non-profits — Palm Beach County Food Bank.

We packed over 2000 pounds of pasta to be distributed throughout Palm Beach County. We are so grateful to this fabulous organization for their focus on fighting hunger in our community! Typically this food reaches an average of 200,000 individuals in need every month — no small feat!

We are excited to share one of our closing projects for 2023 — the newly completed Baptist Health South Florida Endoscopy Center in Palm Beach Gardens. This state-of-the-art surgical facility offers diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures in the comfort and convenience of an outpatient setting thanks to advances in medical technology. The great news is that you can return home on the same day as your procedure.

We love working with Baptist Health South Florida and hope this schmick modern amenity services the Palm Beach Gardens area for years to come.

If you haven’t made it to visit Busch Wildlife Sanctuary’s new oasis in Jupiter Farms, here is a sneak peek of the extensive 20-acre facility. We may be bias … but we think it looks beautiful!

The new campus will be the forever home to as many as 300 animals, some of which are permanent residents, while others will be rehabilitated for eventual release into the wild.

Make sure to visit and check out the custom animal enclosures and five wetland habitats for yourself. This place is truly a Florida treasure!

Several Black Diamond General Contracting, Inc. team members joined the Executive Director of Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, Amy Knight and President and CEO of Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce, Noel Martinez, amongst other notable guests, for the official ribbon cutting ceremony at the beautiful new wildlife conservation campus in Jupiter Farms this week.

We are so fortunate to have been the general contractor for this amazing new 20-acre reserve, and to be able to celebrate the official opening of a facility dedicated to protecting and rescuing Florida wildlife and our natural ecosystem! And based right here in our very own backyard.

The sanctuary is now open to the public – come and join the 200,000 people of all ages that will visit this local treasure annually to experience programs and exhibits dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating our native wildlife, or stop by the Black Diamond sponsored classroom where they continue to educate our community about environmental conservation.

Oh what a night … catching up with friends, Black Diamond General Contracting, Inc. With a luncheon fit for royalty, the grand opening attended by Black Diamond General Contracting, Inc. President, Justin Howard, and Vice President, Ryan Smith, along with the project's Project Manager, Matt Dixon, showcased the remarkable outcomes that can be achieved when individuals, corporations, foundations, and a compassionate community unite.
