Throughout Jurupa Unified School District there are brand new Book Vending Machines in every schools library to support literacy! We continue to prioritize the importance of reading, but especially the importance of having access to books at home! We had some special students give it a try for the first time this week as a reward. Coins have been given to teachers to provide incentives for reaching reading goals, behavior, and much more. This is literacy in action. ¡En todo Jurupa Unified School District hay nuevas máquinas expendedoras de libros en cada biblioteca escolar para apoyar la alfabetización! ¡Seguimos priorizando la importancia de la lectura, pero sobre todo la importancia de tener acceso a libros en casa! Algunos estudiantes especiales lo probaron por primera vez esta semana como recompensa. Se han entregado monedas a los maestros para brindar incentivos para alcanzar objetivos de lectura, comportamiento y mucho más. Esto es alfabetización en acción.
