✨This month we will be exploring acupuncture points along the small-intestine channel🪡✨

🌿The small-intestine channel plays a crucial role in maintaining a healthy gut microbiome, which is essential for effective communication and relaying information from the gut to the brain 🧠 The primary function of the small-intestine is to separate the clear from the turbid. By absorbing beneficial nutrients from the stomach and discarding waste to the large intestine.

🌿The small-intestine pairs with the heart as its internal-external yin-yang pair. So it shares the season of summer, the color red, and the emotion of joy. According to the Chinese medicine clock it governs the time from 1-3pm allowing for digestion of food at this time.

✨Hope you learned something new about the small-intestine and its importance in gut health. Stay tuned for acupuncture points along the small-intestine channel that you can apply acu-pressure to yourself 💆🏻‍♀️
