It's been a long year, but I am determined to come back. I am saying this for accountability, and to put a tack on my seat.

I'm not quite sure when, but I know it will be soon.

I'm finally able to move things out of storage and it feels so good 🤧❤️

I'm hoping in the next couple of months I can be semi-running again.

Hello, y'all!

It's been a minute! In that time, I've healed enough to run again. (It still feels a little weird, but better than I was.) My family and I have moved to a bigger apartment! (We have SPACE!) I got married! ^.^ (It was a cute, sweet little thing with some witnesses and a friend who is an officiant. We're gonna have a *wedding* wedding when we're able.)

I've been crocheting and healing and re-entering and figuring out what I want to do with myself.

There are boxes everywhere, also clothes everywhere xD But everyone is happier. And that means more than anything!!

Today is Indigenous People's Day

Don't forget that the Caribbeans used to be filled with indigenous people before Columbus k*ll*d them indiscriminately. Wiped them out. Before African people. Before Spanish people. Those islands were inhabited. And we don't know them because of that SORRY ASS MO********ER.

They deserved better. They deserved life. And their decendants deserve to know their *actual* history.

Good morning!

Yesterday went way easier than my anxiety thought it would. I was able to get rides from a sweet friend to and from the surgery. She hung out with me during all of the preop stuff. Help me get into the hospital gown. General fussing over me about everything. She also got me that cute little sloth and flowers!

When I got home, my love had made a pho inspired broth and made rice noodles and meatballs. And some plant based reese's!! I got lots of cuddles and kisses and got to take a nap before I had some more of the broth.

OH MY GOD. My medical team this time was so kind. From beginning to end. (Last time, after my surgery them nurses in recovery (yes, they were...) got me, and Seb, and anofher friend who was picking me up then, FUUUUUCKED up.) This time was so much better. Everyone was kind and attentive and no one made me feel like an inconvenience. (Bare minimum, but it means a lot still.

Thank you EVERYONE who checked up on me. For your well wishes and healing thoughts. It means more to me than I can put into words.

These last couple of weeks has really highlighted how much I and my family are loved and cared for. You know who you. The community of incredible people I have surrounding me now. I am *beyond* blessed and feel immensely grateful.

Be good to yourself. Fill your bottles, eat some food, take your meds. Give yourself a hug. You deserve some kindness from yourself. 🌻

Hello all!

I feel like we all need an official post and plain words to say the unspoken part out loud.

With my leg the way it is, I am not able to put together orders. The amount I'm paying to keep the website up is a lot when you're not getting orders in. But it doesn't matter when I can't fulfill an order if I did have one.

So. This is to let you all know that the website is down, and I won't be fulfilling any orders (again, I am physically unable to); Boho Momma Natural Living is closed.

I don't know if this is now or forever, but this is the next step I know I need to take.

In all of this, there is a huge THANK YOU that needs to be said.

Thank you for being incredible people who carried me through some of the most difficult years of my life.

Here's to being grateful for the past that brought me here, taking a breath in the present, and looking toward the future.

Good morning!

I'm still here. The business has been slow, so I'm enjoying time with my family. Making things, eating things, drawing things, playing with things.

I'm not going to lie, I've become discouraged in regards to my wanting to continue Boho Momma, so I've been keeping everything up and as is as a place marker, without doing much with it or about it...I'm still here, Boho Momma is still here.

I don't know what to say beyond that. I hope y'all are having a great Monday!

My kiddo took a picture of me because I was beautiful. They'd put lip gloss on me and wanted to take a picture.

Messy hair, still in my PJs, and true couch potato vibes.

In between making and shipping orders, I'm super grateful to be around such kind souls.

Today the kiddos got initiated into the ranks of Cookie Godparents In Training. Made some double chocolate, pecan, walnut-y oat cookies.

Little kids doing anything means big mess and true to form I didn't get one of those perfectly curated pictures of me using my Multi-Purpose Cleaner to clean up the mess.

Just a quick drop in to say I'm still alive. Life is going and is also a very lot with everything scotus and socially and environmentally going on right now.

I haven't left or closed my business, I'm still here.

I've recently moved, am living life with my partner and kids, finding a new normal. Thinking about how I want to come back to Boho Momma.

Lots of living in the moment and allowing myself to enjoy life where I am.

To be completely transparent, Boho Momma was starting to feel like an obligation and like I had worked myself into a corner. So this break ended up very multi-faceted.

ANYWAY!

I've got a few announcements and updates I wanted to share with you:

1) I am moving at the end of May, and will be taking a break from Boho Momma for a bit (not closing, just a pause).

2) Due to the move, in order to get your in time go ahead and make your orders before April 23rd.

3) I will not be at any NC farmers markets this year (sad face). I will miss you all, but this big step is the next step for me and my family.

4) Boho Momma products will still be available at Kickin Creations Local Artisan Market and Main Street Marketplace and Meeting Place and I do ship, so everything will still be available to you!

5) I'm working on getting an email newsletter set up so that y'all can have a more behind the scenes look and sneak peak updates. If you're interested, PLEASE comment so I can know if there's even interest in this idea. And shoot me a DM so I can add your email address to the list!
