Make sure that your baby is Alone, on their Back, in a safety-approved Crib for every naptime, and bedtime.

Your baby’s crib should be free of crib bumpers, blankets, stuffed toys, and pillows and should only have a tightly fitted sheet on a firm mattress.
Your baby should always be placed to sleep on their back and should never sleep anywhere other than their crib. Sleeping with your baby in an adult bed, or on a chair or couch can lead to tragedy.

Due to the high number of staff absences caused by COVID-19 and other illnesses, all district buildings will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 18th and Wednesday, Jan. 19th.

The closure also includes cancellation of the before and after school childcare program and KidZone.

The district will offer meal curb-side meals from 11am to 2pm at the following locations. You do NOT have to have pre-register for a meal:

Banneker Elementary School
Eisenhower Middle School
Carl B Bruce Middle School
Rosedale Middle School
FL Schlagle High School
J.C. Harmon High School

The closure does not include Central Office and the Public Libraries. These location will be open during their regular business hours.
