We're proud to have been part of the team that constructed the Operations Center North, supporting the Space Development Agency's vital satellite mission. This project represents a significant step forward for national security and technological advancement, and we're excited to see the impact it will have in the years to come.

".S. Senator John Hoeven announced that he is working to expand the Space Development Agency (SDA) satellite mission at the Grand Forks Air Force Base. Hoeven made the announcement with SDA Director Dr. Derek Tournear while reviewing progress on the facilities being developed at the Grand Forks Air Force Base for the SDA’s low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite mission, which will serve as the backbone for all U.S. military communications."

We spent a beautiful afternoon yesterday at the KC Pet Project for their stunning Monument Reveal! So honored to be a part of such an incredible project! 🐶🐱

KC Pet Project is a 501c3, nonprofit charitable organization operating the KC Campus for Animal Care, Kansas City, Missouri’s, Animal Shelter. They care for more than 15,000 animals a year and now have 14 locations in Missouri and Kansas to adopt out pets.

They focus on progressive programs to help people keep their pets through Lost and Found services, the Keep ‘Em Together, KC program, and pet safety initiatives like microchipping, pet identification, and more.

We're excited to spotlight a project completed in Fall of 2020 🍂with the National Parks Service at the Buffalo National River. Spanning across 13 structures, we replaced a total of 250 squares of asphalt shingle roofs and a hefty 65 squares of standing seam metal roof system at the Tyler Bend Visitors Center.

While this endeavor presented unique challenges, like ensuring the facilities remained open and accessible to the public and navigating the remote location, our dedicated team rose to the occasion. With seamless planning and efficient ex*****on, we ensured no disruptions to the public facilities or their visitors. And the cherry on top? We completed the project over a month ahead of the scheduled timeline! 🎉

As a Design-Bid-Build project for the National Park Service, this endeavor highlights our adaptability to various project requirements. Despite the remote location, significant distance from our home base, and tight timelines, our team showcased expertise in diverse roofing systems, including asphalt shingles and metal roof panels. Quality, safety, and timely delivery remain our steadfast commitment.

Thank you to our hardworking team and our partners at the NNational Park Servicefor making this project a shining example of what Compass Constructors can achieve!

We are thrilled to announce that our COO, Andrew Christ, was honored with an invitation to witness a spectacular SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch. The event took place at the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on September 2, 2023.

This wasn't just any launch; it was part of the Space Development Agency’s second Tranche 0 mission, involving the deployment of 13 cutting-edge communications and missile tracking satellites. 🛰️

It's truly an honor and privilege to be part of the SDA's groundbreaking mission. This monumental event reaffirms our commitment to innovation, progress, and excellence. Thank you, SDA and SpaceX, for letting us be a part of this historical moment.

Last month, we were honored to showcase the progress of our latest job for the Space Development Agency 🛰with some distinguished guests!

Senator John Hoeven, Colby Kuhns/Hakela Hapner (from Senator Kevin Cramer staff), Dr. Derek Tournear (Director of the Space Development Agency), Col. Tim Monroe (Wing Commander for Grand Forks Air Force Base), Grand Forks Mayor Brandon Bochenski, and University of North Dakota President Andrew Armacost. Truly a fantastic experience to be a part of this project!

The group that we have assembled is second to none and we are providing cutting edge construction to ensure that SDA’s mission stays ahead of schedule.
