To all my family and friends, clients and even people who don’t know me: Theft is rampant out there. I get calls frequently from people who have had cars stolen, property vandalized or worse. Thieves are getting more bold and invading “safe” neighborhoods. Please take these precautions:

1. Don’t leave your doors unlocked, ever! To your home or your vehicles
2. Don’t leave your keys or garage door opener in your vehicle or anything valuable- especially IDs
3. Install ADT or other security cameras on premise
4. Make sure your insurance coverage is adequate to cover any losses, especially if you are a business because a personal policy won’t cover your property
5. Consider putting air tags in your vehicle
6. Every night routinely check all doors, windows and lock vehicles before setting alarm
