Made of 2cm Asmi Surfaces Symphony by Aurea Stone Carmen, this stunning fireplace is a major focal point in this project with Ashner Construction and Jen Jackson design. It was definitely worth the effort!

As an Account Manager, Hilary helps our clients' design dreams come true, working with them from first consultation all the way to install. She brings a rare and valuable perspective to this position, with a background in the technical, computer-based drawing process. It's no surprise, then, to hear that she is exceptionally organized, efficient and driven.

What might be more surprising is her previous time cutting hair for a living - a service she now offers to her clients here. Hilary's desk is brightly adorned by lots of photos of her family, especially her kids - all three of whom have a name starting with P!

We are proud to have brilliant, dedicated team members like Hilary.

This opulent basement bar is dynamic and bold, integrated masterfully with luxe finishes and decor to maintain a polished look.

Lots of greenery, plush seating areas and wood and brick textures dominate the space visually. But the giant central bar, while visually simple, is still a very necessary component!

We fabricated and installed this bar for them in Corian Design Glacier White solid surface.

We fabricated these kitchen countertops and stunning waterfall leg in New River White granite, along with a bar, four vanities (in MSI Q Quartz's Arctic White) and more.

We're shining the Staff Spotlight this month on our Logistics / Procurement Manager, Jace!

Now, if "Logistics / Procurement Manager" sounds like a broad title - that's because it is! Jace's incredible skillset is utterly essential to our day-to-day running; he is master of the schedule for every project, playing time-Tetris to meet client needs for both template and installation. He also works with our stone vendors to keep our most popular styles always in stock and acquire the rarer slabs that every unique project calls for.

Jace is as vital to us for his character as for his skill. He's always up to chat about the latest sports upset or player trade, always has a song lyric ready to share and always finds a witticism to make everyone laugh.

He strongly supports Kansas City sports, especially the KC Current, which he and his wife have season tickets to! With his wife, their dog and their brand new baby, Jace is living a busy, full life, and we're so glad to be a part of it - and to have him as part of our team!

We helped them outfit this gorgeous bar and prep counter with Silestone by Cosentino's Marengo quartz, deep gray to contrast the warm, light wood tones around it.

When we shine our Surface Spotlight on this Cambria quartz, it flashes with a glittering golden glow. Berkshire Brass Sculpted is carved with canals of deep gold, the textured brass veins subtle overall but stunningly reflective under direct light.

A space doesn't have to be enormous to make a big impact!

Take this gorgeous kitchen from Hurst Construction, Inc and Hoke Ley. The waterfall leg and full height backsplash we fabricated in this stunning White Montreal quartzite make a big impression in this smaller space. Functional, modern touches like the pot filler, stainless steel appliances and wood accents complete this classy, efficient space.

Though the countertop color may reference the desert, this monochrome kitchen by C&M Builders, Inc is anything but arid. With Silestone by Cosentino's Desert Silver quartz countertops reflecting all the similar gray tones, this space feels soft and glowy.

The basement bar and butler's pantry carry this rich, welcoming feeling throughout (in Silestone's Marengo and MSI Q Quartz's Arctic White, respectively), making every guest feel at home.

For our May Staff Spotlight, please take a moment to appreciate one of our excellent Lead Installers, Chucho!

As part of the install team, Chucho often acts the face of Central Surfaces - he interacts with our clients onsite as we supply the product for their new space. We rely on Chucho for his ability to communicate and develop relationships with clients, but also for his meticulous care and craftsmanship when completing an installation. There is no job he can't accomplish!

He has always been a voracious learner, growing his own set of skills and consequently guiding his teammates to improvement as well.

Outside of work, Chucho is just as friendly and handy, always spending time with family and fixing things around the house. He loves Call of Duty mobile and will devour a homemade tamale given the chance!

Few spaces are more versatile and luxurious than a basement bar. MP360 Design & Build partnered with us to create this gorgeous, U-shaped, split-level bar in honed Nero Mist granite, complete with gold sink and matching seating. A space like this is perfect for a kids' movie night, a family game night or drinks with friends!
