What is breathwork? What can I expect??
Consciously focusing on a guided breathing pattern for an extended period of time. The repetitive breath patterns and music will guide you to a deep meditation. You’ll have an opportunity to rest, to process and to see things differently.
How you breathe affects your whole body, but proper breathing is something that takes practice. Research has shown a single breathwork session can lower blood pressure, reset the nervous system. The magic happens when you come more regularly. Learn to be calm no matter what’s going on. Master your fight or flight response!
Practice proper breathing while we go on a breathwork journey. Relaxing the body, calming your nervous system and relieving stress. All while improving your breathing habits and lung function.
Once you try it, you will see how easy it is to make regular breathwork apart of your stress tool box.

When your body goes into fight or flight mode, it stops seeing options. Thinking creatively is less possible as the body conserves energy for running or fighting.
Right now we need to be calm and to think clearly. To see as many options as are available.
Stakes are high and there’s lots to be afraid of. But being afraid affects our ability to act. The best thing we can do for ourselves is to to keep as much of our minds functioning effectively as possible.
By slowing the breath, you can keep your body OUT of panic mode. You can act quickly and not feel hijacked. Your breath is that key!

This class is a must for veteran breathers! Don’t overlook it just because it’s called "101". Even if you’ve attended a dozen breathwork experiences you still have to try a 101 class. Each class is loaded with new information and insights that will enhance your practice in ways I can’t cover in the breathwork experiences you have come to know and love. Everyone who attends will walk away with new insights, regardless of their experience level.

In Breathwork 101, we’ll dive into how the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems function, why stress feels the way it does and how you can change that.
I’ll guide you through:
The science of stress. The sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system. What's happening in your body and why it matters.
How to learning to breathe can shift the way your body feels in big ways.
We will practice using different breathing techniques to change your state—whether you're stressed, tired, or looking for calm.
Practical tools you can use every day to feel better and more in control.
If you are new to breathwork or have been practicing breathwork for a while, you’ll leave with new strategies to deepen your experience. This class will fill your toolbox with skills that will help you feel good and grounded in any situation, plus you’ll receive a beautiful workbook to take home and continue your learning.

You are either growing or declining. It's impossible to stay the same. Each month the moon comes as a reminder to let go of the things that are not working for us. Resentments. Frustration.
