Congratulations to Partner Barry Grissom for his appointment to the Board of Advisors to the Kansas Cannabis Coalition!
The Kansas Cannabis Coalition is very excited to welcome Barry Grissom to our Advisory Council.
Making change in Kansas comes with a long uphill battle. Mr. Grissom brings with him his expertise as a long-time attorney with a history in criminal justice reform, former U.S. Attorney, service on the Attorney General Advisory Committee and service on the Blue Ribbon Panel where he, along with other U.S. Attorneys and high ranking officials, focused on the shifting of prosecutorial priorities and their effects on violent crime while addressing the issue of over-incarceration.
Since leaving the DOJ, he has focused his efforts on Criminal Justice Reform including lobbying for NORML. As part of that effort, he has written and spoken on the necessity of changing laws that relate to cannabis prohibition.
We are thrilled to have Mr. Grissom's expertise as we continue to grow our organization and help move the needle to cannabis reform in Kansas! Help us in giving a big warm welcome to Barry Grissom!
