Mother’s Day is a special day that reminds us to honor and appreciate the most influential women in our lives. As we celebrate this day, we recognize and give thanks to The Mother of This House.

Sunday was all God ✨

God, lead us in the direction that you have planned for us.

BIBLE STUDY 📝:

It's so important to come into the house of God with expectation. We know that God is a good God and when we come in expecting to receive blessings from Him, we position ourselves to receive them.

Sometimes when bad things happen, we may feel like giving up or stopping our service to God. But we have to remember that the blessings of the Lord are what make us rich, not our circumstances. So we can't let difficult times deter us from serving God.

We also have to be aware of anything that may be blocking our pathway to God. In Deuteronomy 28, we see the blessings and curses that come with following or straying from God's ways. Let's make sure we are guarding our hearts and keeping our focus on Him.

As believers, the world ought to see the light in us. That's why it's so important for us to reach out and touch people's lives. We can't expect to get secular answers for spiritual things. Only God can provide those answers.

But we must also remember that all things are done in God's timing, not ours. We have to develop a hunger for God and trust that He will fulfill His promises in His perfect timing.

Tonight we talked about being partners with Christ to help build His Church.

It's vital that we understand this - the culture around us should be adapting to us, not the other way around. And the key to making that happen? Sticking to the Word of God. As we stay true to His teachings, the Church will continue to grow and thrive.

But let's not forget our purpose - we are here to run with the vision that Christ has given us. He didn't tell us to build big fancy buildings; He called us to build disciples. That's our true ministry - sharing the love and message of Jesus with others.

So let's get serious about our ministry. We have a responsibility as partners with Christ to spread His love and build His Church. And remember, it's not just about us as individuals, but it's about what we can accomplish together as The Church.

BIBLE STUDY 📝:

Tonight, we talked about Techniques for Witnessing.

You know, sharing our faith and spreading the love of Jesus can be daunting, but it doesn't have to be. So here are some tips that I've found helpful.

Firstly, listen more than you talk. We often get so caught up in trying to convince people that we forget to listen to their perspective. Asking good questions is key. It shows that we genuinely care about the person and their thoughts.

Also, don't worry about sounding wise or having all the answers. We don't have to be experts in theology to share our faith. As it says in 1 Corinthians 1:17, it's not about our wise words, but about the power of the cross.

One of the most effective ways to witness is by sharing our own story. People can resonate with personal experiences, and it makes our faith more relatable. Don't be afraid to be vulnerable; it shows others that we're real and imperfect, just like them.

When having practical conversations, focus on the person's needs and concerns rather than talking about sin right away. Let the Holy Spirit lead the conversation and trust that He will guide us to what needs to be said.

Lastly, it's essential not to come off as overly religious. People are more open to conversations when we're genuine and authentic. Remember, what we go through is not just for us, but it can also help others through their struggles. So let's be real with people and spread the love of Jesus in a relatable way.

We just wanted to take a moment to thank the amazing woman of God who shared today’s message with us. It was truly inspiring and spoke to our heart.

Your message reminded us of the power of God's love and how it can transform our lives.

Your words encouraged us to shake it off, even in the midst of difficult situations. They reminded us to trust in God's plan for our lives and to never give up hope.

We can't express enough how much today’s message meant to us, and I know it has touched the hearts of us all. Your faith and passion for God is contagious and it's evident that you truly have a heart for spreading His love.

So thank you, dear woman of God, for sharing your wisdom and knowledge of the word with us. Thank you for being a vessel for God's love and speaking truth into our lives.

Tonight, we talked about The Power of A Good Conversation.

First off, we all know that communication is key. In order to effectively communicate, we need conversation. It's necessary for understanding and building relationships.

In Malachi 3:16-17, it says "Then those who feared the Lord spoke with one another. The Lord paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the Lord and esteemed his name." This just shows us the importance of conversation in our relationship with God.

But it's not just with God, there is power in having a good conversation with others as well. If you don't understand something, don't be afraid to ask for clarification. It's important to have understanding in our conversations.

Another thing to remember is that our body language speaks loudly, even when we're not talking. So make sure to pay attention to your nonverbal cues as well.

And let's not forget about faith. It's a big part of communication. With faith, we can have difficult conversations and also have the courage to listen and learn from others.

Speaking of listening, that's another key aspect of communication. We must listen well in order to truly understand others and strengthen our relationships.

Be mindful of your speech. As it says in Matthew 15:11, "it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person." Our words have power and can betray us if we're not careful.

So let's remember to have good conversations, listen well, and be mindful of our speech.

Bible Study 📝:

Tonight, we talked about the dangers of Unsatisfied Spiritual Hunger.

You see, when we're not satisfied spiritually, it can lead to selfishness and spiritual wondering. We can see this in the story of John 6, where the people followed Jesus because their physical needs were being met, but when He started talking about their spiritual hunger, they turned away.

But here's the thing - if we don't feed our spiritual souls, we will starve. Just like in Revelation 7:16-17, where it talks about the people who have washed their robes and are now standing before the throne of God, being fed and guided by Him. That's where I want to be - filled up with God.

So how do we do that? How do we satisfy our spiritual hunger? Well, we need to feed ourselves in prayer and in the word of God. And when we do that, we'll start to see a change in ourselves. We'll start to care more about the things of God, rather than our own selfish desires. The word of God is like medicine for our souls, it fills us up and strengthens us.

So here's my question for you - what have you been filling yourself up more with? Is it the things of this world, or is it the word of God? Let's make sure that we prioritize our spiritual food and fill ourselves up with God every day.

Hebrews 12:1-2.

" Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

We are never alone in our faith journey. We are surrounded by a "great cloud of witnesses,"

I challenge you to throw off anything that may be hindering your walk with God. Maybe it's a bad habit or a negative mindset. Whatever it is, surrender it to Jesus in order to run this race effectively.

Our motivation is Jesus. He is our example and the one we should be fixing our eyes on. He endured the cross for us, with joy in his heart, and now sits at the right hand of God. That should give us all the motivation we need to keep pushing forward.

Bible Study 📝 :

The Promises of God.

We are reminded that God has a path designed for our lives. He knows our end from the beginning, and because of that, we have the right to expect great things from Him.

My question for you is, are you living in expectation? Do you wake up every morning with a sense of excitement, anticipating what God has in store for you? Or are you just going through the motions without any real expectation?

See, when we live in expectation, we are declaring our trust in the Lord. We are saying, "God, I trust that you will come through for me. I trust that your promises will be fulfilled in my life."

We should expect to see a manifestation of God's glory in our lives because He is faithful to His promises. We have the right to expect greater things because of the one who promised greater things.

But this also requires us to have a foundational trust in the Lord. We need to trust Him no matter how long it takes. And it's not always easy, but it's worth it. Because when we trust in God's promises, we open ourselves up to receive all that He has for us.

So let's live in total expectation of God's promise and trust Him every step of the way. Because when we do, we can't help but be filled with hope and excitement for what's to come.
