Scott Marlowe - Creator of all these amazing flavors! A former firefighter and electrician by trade... When the pandemic hit he volunteered to stay home and take care of our son, Alex. A loving father and supportive husband! Very patriotic and holds the utmost respect for those that have served to protect our country. 🇺🇸 ✌️ 🇺🇸

Alex - 10 years old with the goal of becoming a famous YouTuber, or possibly president one day! He is full of life and has a great sense of humor. This kid is wise beyond his years.

Yvonne - I left my retail management career to be more present with my family. After a few jobs that weren't satisfying, I decided to invest my energy in growing the company - So I am responsible for social media, advertising, and general business practices. I schedule our pop-up events. I am ServeSafe and CPR certified certified! I am using my decades of restaurant and retail experience to build our family legacy!

Roasted Hawaiian Pork Loin!? Yes, Please!!!

We made this roast this weekend and it was SO easy and SO good! We cooked this with our original Whiskey Bourbon BBQ sauce and fresh pineapple. We also decided to slice it up and put it on hoagie rolls with our Habanero BBQ sauce and pickles! (We wanted a little kick) You could even jazz it up with some French Fried Onions or coleslaw... Or not! Make it whatever way you like!

Wanted to share this beautiful sunrise from Kansas City Missouri! The new home of Marlowe's Original!!!

It took an incredible amount of hard work to make it here so we decided to take a quick vacation and rented a gorgeous Airbnb right in midtown! (Pics coming soon)

We're checking out some of the famous BBQ joints and city parks (so far we found one that was so awesome, we just kept going back 😂) The second picture is the rope park in Roanoke. One of the coolest Parks I've ever seen... The slide is ridiculously fast... We got a funny story to share later...

We are still temporarily closed as we switch our business license and find a co-packer but don't worry! We are very ready to get back to work!!!

I've lived most of my life with a guarded, lonely heart... seeing life and the world as a cold, lonely struggle without much love. The last few years I've watched so much hate... sadness... division... and struggle in so many lives... People post to brag, to argue, to spread mindless memes... I just want to say what I think we all need more of... I love you all! I hope you're well! I hope you're happy! If you're sad or struggling... I hope you make it through and find that better place when you make it through! I hope you have enough to eat, a happy home, and people to love you! I hope you reach your dreams! If you lack any of this, I hope you reach out to someone, even me (if you're desperate Jk lol) ... but most importantly... I hope you read this and it inspires you to share and spread love to others who might be struggling and need love! Truth is I'm trying to be a new person... to be happy... but I'm struggling (a lil) and I feel like by sharing love, it'll give me strength! So... Keep'em green! ✌️💚

Today marks the official start of our Keep the Wreath Green campaign!

During the holiday season, Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services (CCFES) will be participating in the "Keep the Wreath Green" campaign through January 1. One green bulb on the wreath will be replaced by a red bulb for every structure fire that occurs in Cherokee County during that time.

The purpose of this campaign is to remember to practice fire prevention during the holidays. It's the time of year when we enjoy festive meals with family and friends, deck our halls with colorful decorations, and hang our stockings by the fireplace. This is also the time of year that more fires occur due to extra time in the kitchen, Christmas lights, underwatered Christmas trees, candle usage and use of fires in undermaintained chimneys.

Wreaths will be placed at different locations throughout the county such as Fire Stations, community areas, and schools. Be sure to check them out and please help us spread the word about fire safety.

Here’s a checklist to ensure everyone has a safe holiday:
• Be sure to water your natural tree often to prevent dry needles from becoming a fire hazard or utilize an artificial tree.
• Discard your tree as soon as possible after the holiday.
• Check your lights for exposed or frayed wires, loose connections, and broken sockets.
• Never leave lit candles unattended.
• Store matches and lighters away from children.
• Never overload electrical outlets.
• Keep space heaters at least 3 feet away from any other object.
• Be careful about having a fire when stockings are hung on the fireplace.
• Use a fireplace screen to prevent sparks from escaping.
• Have your chimney inspected once a year.
• Keep a 3-foot kid-free zone around the oven and stove.
• Check your smoke alarm batteries.
• Sleep with your bedroom doors closed to prevent spread of fire.
• Review your family fire escape plan and have a meeting place outside the home in case of fire.
• Teach your guests your fire escape plan.
