We wanted to ensure a smooth transition of teams into our next season at Memorial Hall, while also maintaining the team pages we’ve had for so long. We want those memories to live on forever for everyone! You will see that this page has transitioned from the Dreadnought Dorothy’s to the Midtown Misfits!

We are inviting all KCRW alumni to come out to our 11/11 game at Memorial Hall to be honored at our halftime show. Wear your home team jerseys and be recognized alongside other alumni for the time you have put into this league. More details coming soon. We hope to see you there!

The Kansas City Roller Warriors stand in solidarity with our Black and Brown skaters, league members, alumni, friends, family and communities standing up for racial justice and against police brutality. As allies and as a member of the WFTDA, we recognize the gross injustices members of the Black, Brown, and LGBTQIA+ community face daily and we will not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, or transphobia.

Kansas City has a long history of racism and segregation and we refuse to be on the wrong side of that history, we can no longer stand in silence. We will continue the work to advocate for our league members as well as the Black and Brown community at large. If you would like to join the fight here are some resources:

This season your Dreadnought Dorothys were led by the one and only Beetle Juke. Juke stepped up to the plate at a time when more than half of the Dorothys retired. There was less than a handful left on the team. Juke being the youngest and newest on the team took control and mapped out a plan for the 2020 season. Juke has been the driving force behind the success of the Dreadnought Dorothy’s this season. She has led by example, pushed her team to new levels, and has inspired the KCRW league as a whole.
Although our season has been postponed due to the pandemic. We are certain that she would have led us to the pits of RINK OF FIRE 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
