Demand Surges At St. Louis City Shelter For Homeless Youth: 'More Than We've Ever Seen' Since the pandemic began, the number of teens and young adults waiting for a shelter bed at Covenant House Missouri in St. Louis has more than doubled — and many are experiencing homelessness for the first time.

At-risk youth find safety, internet, food, tutoring at HALO Haven Having a safe place to be, while going to school in the middle of a global pandemic has been increasingly difficult for youth across Kansas City.
