By 200 BC, they had successfully used concrete in most of their construction. Their concrete was found to be extremely durable due to the mix of lime and volcanic rock they used. Hope you learned something new!

What’s happening around the department? A lot! Below is a picture of footings being poured for an addition to Fire Station #2 located at 158th Street and Metro Ave. Our department is working quickly, and diligently to add on to this station to have the ability to staff the station! This will greatly decrease response times to our citizens in the southern portion of our district!
