Today our Kindergarten students did not have school so our future Kindergarten class of 2037 could be at Discovery Day! Their signing day was today!

Piper USD 203 announced today that it has been recognized as a 2023-24 PLTW - Project Lead The Way Distinguished School District. This honor is given to a select number of schools across the U.S. for providing broad access to transformative learning experiences for students through PLTW STEM curriculum. PLTW is a national nonprofit organization that serves millions of PreK-12 students and teachers in schools across the U.S., aiming to make every child in every grade STEM successful. Our POWER word for today was REALITY CHECK!

Tonight's challenge will be a BIGGEST JUMP CHALLENGE! The class with the BIGGEST JUMP IN DONATIONS will get a BUBBLE PARTY WITH THE APEX TEAM!!

Our POWER word of the day is EFFORT!

Tonight's challenge will be a $10 JUMP CHALLENGE! Any class that has a $10 jump per lap in pledges will get to MUMMIFY A MEMBER OF THE APEX TEAM!!

Today, Mrs. Ward's, Mrs. Simpson's, Ms. Sellers', Mrs. Robb's, Mrs. Krejci's and Mrs. Foster's classes earned popsicles for having 100% of their students logged in from last night's challenge. WAY TO GO!

Mrs. Parson's class won the BIGGEST JUMP challenge Thursday evening and they got to put a PIE IN THE FACE of the APEX team!

This weekend's challenge: PARTICIPATION CHALLENGE!
The class with the most new pledges no matter how big or small, will get to have APEX INTERVIEW DAY!

Every student in the class will get to ask the Apex team any (appropriate) question that they want and WE MUST ANSWER!

Our challenge for tonight is the SHARES CHALLENGE! The class with the most new shares by Thursday morning will get a popcorn party for their class!
