It's with a heavy heart that we'd like to let our community know about the recent passing of Bill Haw Sr. late last week.

Bill brought the Stockyards District back to life - restoring the Livestock Exchange Building and several others in the neighborhood.

He always said that to make things work "there's nothing more important than the owner's shadow", and he lived by those words.

People saw him every day in the building and on the property for over 30 years as he was the center of this great community.

He will be missed, but his legacy will forever be remembered.

We appreciate your kind thoughts, words, and prayers during this time.
