Good news! Crews have OPENED Chipman Road at U.S. Route 50 in Lee’s Summit - ahead of schedule! This closure was in place for the U.S. Route 50 bridge replacement project that was originally anticipated to be completed by February 2023. Happy fall y’all!

Crews will be closing the following lanes and/or ramps beginning at 7:30 p.m. TONIGHT, Thursday, July 14, until approximately 5 a.m. the following morning. These closures are for paving work. Motorists will need to find alternate routes during this time. All work is weather permitting.

- Crews will be CLOSING two lanes of southbound Interstate 435 over I-70.
- Crews will be CLOSING the ramp from westbound I-70 to southbound I-435.
- Crews will be CLOSING the ramp from northbound I-435 to Stadium Drive.

Additionally, crews will be completing paving work on Saturday, July 16, from 7:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning that will require the following closures:

- Crews will be CLOSING two lanes of southbound Interstate 435 over I-70.

🚧 Traffic Alert: Permit work involving pipeline repairs will require the CLOSURE of the left lane of southbound I-35 from approximately MO Route 291 to just north of MO Route 152 May 31-June 10. This will delays in the area. More details here: www.modot.org/node/25932
