Our Story

The Frontier District is the Heart of America Council’s Scoutreach Initiative that delivers the Scouting program in areas of our Council’s urban core that face unique challenges that may prevent youth from otherwise joining Scouting. In order for us to deliver this initiative we have a team of Para Professionals that provide the Scouting program in an after school setting to over 3,700 Scouts in Kansas City, MO and Kansas City, KS.
