This here Rodeo Series is our hoppy tribute to the spirit of the great American cowboy. Mamas Don’t Let Your Hazies Grow Up to Be Cowboys is a citrusy, hazy IPA double-dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Citra, El Dorado, Cashmere, and Strata hops. We think it’s so good, they ought to write a song about it.

We love all of KC so dang much, but something about our lil spot in the West Bottoms just really gets us goin’.

If you haven’t heard yet, we have a new musical installment here at Stockyards. Every third Saturday of the month, we’ll be bringing in both local and traveling artists to perform in the taproom from 6 - 8pm. This week we have Brook Blanche - Official/Music out of Wichita and Copper Threading from here in KC. Come on down to the West Bottoms this weekend and check ‘em out.

A Classic through and through, the Bulldogger boasts a light bitterness to balance out a blend of floor-malted pilsner malts with Saaz and Akoya hops. It’s the namesake in honor of the original stained glass windows in the back bar and event space. Come try one in the taproom and see for yourself.

Come hang out with us this Sunday with True North. This midwestern Americana band has been performing together since 2002 and between their humor and original music, it’s bound to be top notch Sunday Service.
